Hello guys, hope all of you are doing good. Spoilers ahead of Stormveil Castle.
I was’t when I was suffering through the rampart tower of the Stormveil castle where a trio of birds rested and awaited my arrival. This was where a kind soul did make me aware of the danger ahead yet it didn’t help at all. The suffering was constant XD
I cleared the area and went below. The platform led to a dome shaped structure except there were several areas to go below. I chose to go down from the left side where a window opening was there. This was where I felt like Batman, brooding from a vantage point.
There was a merchant below who had sold me some spells. He had a backstory of his own too.
Bought a pebblestone from him. Didn’t go for the others as my Faith level was low. For mage builds, the game is very strict with the ability and so if you don’t have the required amount of level it wouldn’t work.
After the merchant, I went down and met this OP dude. I died about 4-5 times here as my level was too low to even compete. My strength was on level 20. And low equipment level.
Then I tried to head upstairs and look for a new way to continue to. There were 2 skeleton enemies that were not easy but was able to do away with nicely. There was a huge gap in the middle and I fell through it once🥲.
There was a guy here that patrolled the area. I snuck around and got him from the back. I was still using the Longsword that I had received from a random enemy. And the halberd that I got from the Tree Sentinel. More enemies charged at me as they were activated when I snuck around.
The was cleared and it gave a good 600+ rune. I looked below and saw more area to roam and indulge myself with.
I had to jump around the tower and saw an area below. The drop was very high yet I didn’t get a fall damage. Funny how they laid out the game… then I met this bird. Basically, the combination of the annoying birds and add a fire element to the mix. Real pain, my health was not that levelled up and so I died some times here. The shield play was not that effective as I was only receiving the blows from the crow here.
After I beat the guy, I went to look around and found more spot to jump down to. There I saw a path opening from the other way. Through there I saw this guy, didn’t dread when I met him. I again was under-levelled to face him and exited him through an elevator shaft.
Then I went to the basement and to the not so open field. There were enemies there and used cheese on them. Basically, I went in and made an agro on them. Hit them with a crossbow and hid behind the hall and go back and do it again. This was how I cleared the area.
There was a grace nearby and installed an ash of war.
I decided to revisit a place that I once ran away from, the tunnel by Caelid. As it was run by insects. I hate insects so… didn’t even try to do it the first time.
Then I visited the tunnel by Limgrave. Saw that my halberd was slaying the low level enemies. Basically, I was checking for any lost smithing stone that I might’ve left here by mistake.
I was searching for more area to explore on the map, areas that I still hadn’t explored and for it to have low level enemies.
I found a dungeon boss. I had no idea that I was wielding my halberd on only one of my hands. Hence, the attack damage was cut in half. Yet, I managed to beat this in one try and was constantly hitting the guy.
One of the most important talismans that I could ever find was here, in a comparatively low level boss fight. This talisman negates fire damage.
Then I moved to the area beyond the Gatefront and above the road where two giants carry the heavy carriage. Then, randomly I arrived at this place. The place where I found this statue which does nothing. I tried hitting it but it just does nothing.
My friend suggested go by the telescope and look from it to go for new places. Notice how my character has blood splatter all over. Means that I didn’t die for once🙂🤷♂️. Yeah, getting good at the game thanks to the suffering by the Stormveil Castle.
I had many runes collected and spent them on my strength. My attack power was on the sun-par level on the foes that I would face in the near future.
Lastly, I went to the location that my friend told me to still my mind when dealing with this. The weeping Evergaol was one hectic place to pass through.
Enjoy the gameplay.
