😊¡HOLA MIS AMIGOS DE COSTURA!.😊
😊¡HELLO MY SEWING FRIENDS!😊
Happy and blessed night! I send you a big hug and may the peace and love of God fill your lives. Happy and glad to be once again with all of you. This time presenting my participation in this contest. I want to thank our friend, who had this wonderful idea to give our kitchen some love through this NeedleWork your kitchen contest. While it is true, the kitchen has become one of the places where we spend the most time, either cleaning or preparing the food we are going to consume. For us it is very pleasant to enter our kitchen and see it clean, tidy and full of those beautiful kitchen linens. Who does not like to enter a kitchen and that each space of it has this type of detail? Personally, I love it! Kitchen linen has become very common in them, giving a nice touch to this space in our house. I tell you that for a long time I wanted to give my kitchen a treat, and I think this is the time. To participate in this contest, I present a great proposal, it is a beautiful coating for kitchen and refrigerator handles. Normally when we think of making a table linen for our kitchens, the last thing that comes to mind is to make a lining for the handles of the kitchens and refrigerators. When we prepare food, our hands tend to get dirty, and when we have to open the kitchen fridge or oven, we get these handles dirty and we don't even notice. This is an obvious reason to increase the cleaning work. That is why I wanted to present you with this proposal, it is also very easy to do and you can wash it with any detergent. Without further ado, I invite you to my post tonight, let's get ¡started!

Friends, to start making this beautiful lining for handles, the first thing will be to take the gingham fabric and measure 25cm wide by 10cm long, mark and cut it out so that it looks like a couple of rectangles. You can use quilted fabric, in this case I used wadding to cork it. Place the other rectangle and sew around it.
Here we must cut a very long ivory strip, and sew around this rectangle.
It was a bit difficult to sew this strip in the corners, but with a little patience and care I was able to finish it. I stitched this piece to make it look like regular quilting fabrics.
To make the flower that will decorate this lining, we must cut out some small rectangles of orange fabric, you can use any type of fabric. Once we have finished cutting, we fold each one and pass the needle with a little thread and pull to gather and thus create petals.
To make the center, we cut out a circle of ivory white fabric and pass the threaded needle around it, introduce a little wadding and pull. We close the seam and with the same needle and sewing thread we create a flower. We place one on top of the other, and we can also make some leaves with the green fabric and decorate with gross ribbon.
To make the straps we cut some strips and fold to sew, this time I made 6. Once we finished making these straps, we sew this lining on the back, and thus be able to tie it to the handles. If you have magic closure you can also use it.
This is the result, this is how my proposal for our kitchens and my participation in the contest turned out. I hope you make one just like it and enjoy it!
