Buenas, hace un tiempo realice un maravilloso viaje, lo necesitaba, un descanso de la ciudad, del estrés y del trabajo, pase una maravillosa semana en Choroni y disfrute de sus hermosas playas, Choroni es uno de los rincones de Venezuela que más me gusta por su fusión de montañas y mar, y es que desde que uno comienza el ascenso por el parque Nacional Henri Pittier comienza a ver paisajes extraordinarios y la naturaleza se apodera de tu vista, no crees que al ir ascendiendo tras esa montaña encontraras un mar cálido y espectacular.

La travesía comienza así:

Primero nos llegamos al estado Aragua, en la ciudad de Maracay comenzamos a subir a través del parque Nacional Henri Pittier, y es muy extraño para los nuevos visitantes la sensación de ascender una montaña que los llevara a la playa, pero una vez que conoces el camino lo disfrutas y celebras las maravillas de este parque nacional.

Good, some time ago I made a wonderful trip, I needed it, a break from the city, stress and work, spend a wonderful week in Choroni and enjoy its beautiful beaches, Choroni is one of the corners of Venezuela that I like the most for its fusion of mountains and sea, and it is that since one begins the ascent through the Henri Pittier National Park one begins to see extraordinary landscapes and nature takes over your sight, you do not think that when ascending behind that mountain you will find a warm sea and spectacular.

The journey begins like this:

First we reach the state of Aragua, in the city of Maracay we begin to climb through the Henri Pittier National Park, and it is very strange for new visitors the sensation of ascending a mountain that will take them to the beach, but once you know the On the way you enjoy it and celebrate the wonders of this national park.

Esta caída de agua termina siendo un rió que desemboca en el mar, un espectáculo visual y natural realmente, llegando la cima de la montaña se logra ver la ciudad de Maracay junto al lago de Valencia, una panorámica muy bonita es la que se logra apreciar en este punto de la montaña.

This waterfall ends up being a river that flows into the sea, a real visual and natural spectacle, reaching the top of the mountain you can see the city of Maracay next to Lake Valencia, a very beautiful panoramic view is what can be seen at this point on the mountain.

Como iba de paseo logre apreciar pequeños pozos donde habían animales como ranas y peces, incluso en ciertas partes de la montaña si se presta la suficiente atención ves hongos y arboles muy bonitos.

As I was going for a walk I managed to appreciate small wells where there were animals such as frogs and fish, even in certain parts of the mountain if you pay enough attention you see mushrooms and very beautiful trees.

Definitivamente la naturaleza es perfecta y si sabemos juntar la mano del hombre con ella podemos lograr encontrar un equilibrio perfecto para disfrutarla y convivir con ella sin destruirla.

Nature is definitely perfect and if we know how to join the hand of man with it, we can find a perfect balance to enjoy it and live with it without destroying it.

Llegamos a Choroni

Choroni es el pueblo principal, es un un lugar colonial, las calles son pequeñitas y llenas de colorido, las personas son muy atentas ya que una de sus principales fuentes de ingreso es el turismo, quede sorprendida con los servicios en este lugar ya que jamas fallaron, bueno lo único que a veces falla es la señal de los celulares, pero mientras estuve siempre hubo agua, luz e Internet, muchas de las personas con las que conversamos son personas foráneas que se enamoraron de este lugar y decidieron quedarse aquí, y es que de verdad este pueblito atrapa, además de que tienen una tradición de kakao espectacular.

We arrived at Choroni

Choroni is the main town, it is a colonial place, the streets are small and colorful, the people are very attentive since one of its main sources of income is tourism, I was surprised with the services in this place since I never they failed, well the only thing that sometimes fails is the cell phone signal, but while I was there there was always water, electricity and Internet, many of the people we talked to are foreigners who fell in love with this place and decided to stay here, and is that this little town really catches, in addition to having a spectacular kakao tradition.

Realmente este es el pueblito de Choroni, y no te das cuenta que es un pueblo de playa hasta que transitas a Puerto Colombia, lugar donde hacen casi todas las actividades económicas del pueblo desde pesca hasta turismo, uno siente que esta realmente en un pueblo de montaña hasta que comienzas a ver a las personas vestidas bastante playeras y comienzas a sentir la brisa del mar cuando te vas a acercando al puerto, cuando abres los ojos estas al final del pueblo en Puerto Colombia.

Actually this is the little town of Choroni, and you don't realize that it is a beach town until you go to Puerto Colombia, a place where they do almost all the economic activities of the town from fishing to tourism, you feel that you are really in a town of mountain until you begin to see people dressed in pretty shirts and you begin to feel the sea breeze when you get closer to the port, when you open your eyes you are at the end of the town in Puerto Colombia.

En este puerto se mueve mucho la pesca durante la semana, y cuando llega el fin de semana se convierte en un puerto de salida para turistas hacia otras playas cercanas : Tuja, Cepe, Chuao y Valle Seco, en otra publicación les enseñare un poco de un par de estas playas que conocí que son realmente geniales, por ahora me centrare en Puerto Colombia y su famosa playa: Playa Grande, es una hermosura de aguas azules y arena blanca, yo la conocía ya, pero cada vez que voy es como un reencuentro amoroso, esta playa tiene una característica medio ambiental que debo destacar, y es que es un nicho de tortugas marinas las cuales están protegidas por los lugareños y cuentan con un biólogo marino en el pueblo que esta pendiente de que todo suceda de manera adecuada. Colombia Port

In this port there is a lot of fishing during the week, and when the weekend arrives it becomes a departure port for tourists to other nearby beaches: Tuja, Cepe, Chuao and Valle Seco, in another publication I will show you a little about a couple of these beaches that I knew that are really great, for now I will focus on Puerto Colombia and its famous beach: Playa Grande, it is a beauty of blue waters and white sand, I already knew it, but every time I go it is like a love reunion, this beach has an environmental characteristic that I must highlight, and that is that it is a niche for sea turtles which are protected by the locals and have a marine biologist in town who is aware that everything happens properly. Playa Grande

Esta es la playa principal en Puerto Colombia #Choroni ; en esta playa es donde se encuentra la reserva de tortugas marinas, y de verdad el día que llegamos fue genial porque al ser un día entre semana habían pocos turistas, así que prácticamente teníamos la playa para nosotros solos, es un espectáculo voltear y ver el mar y mirar hacia el otro lado y ver una hermosa montaña llena de vida, de ríos y de verdes, para mi este lado de #Venezuela es el que debemos destacar lo bonito, lo que nos llena de esperanza, quiero resaltar que las personas que trabajan en el pueblo buscan la manera de conseguir la materia prima para hacer todo, existe un local donde venden kakao en barra pero también hacen trufas, tortas, alfajores, helados, etc todo con kakao e ingredientes de la zona.
