TOPIC: THE SOURCE OF CHRISTMAS.
Christmas means peace, and for peace to rule in us,we have to put on love.
Colossians 3:14 says: And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
15 says: And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
When we have love for one another,then we will have peace and Christ will be our Christmas.
Ephesians 2:13 says: But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
14 says: For he is our peace,who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us.
The root of all things is love and God is the source from which love emanate.
1 John 4:8 says:He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
Christ came from God and God gave his only begotten son because of love.
John 3:16 says: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
THE PEACE THAT GOD GAVE TO US IS THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.
Luke 2:10 says: And the angel said unto them,fear not: for, behold,I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
11 says: For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
12 says: And this shall be the sign unto you; Ye shall find the baby wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
13 says: And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of heavenly host praising God, and saying,
14 says: Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
We can not be worthy before God without love for one another.
The love of God is the origin of giving his son for mankind.
When we have love for one another,we have have Christmas.
According to the bible, the wicked have no peace because they don't have Christ.
Every day is not Christmas for a lot of people because there is no love in them.
Isaiah 48:22 says: There is no peace, saith the LORD, unto the wicked.
The origin of peace is love.
Christ who is our Christmas came from God who is love.
There are things we can do to relate well with people so long as we are not going against the will of God.
Our intention of relating with people should be leading them to the way of the Lord.
1 Corinthians 9:20 says: And unto the Jews I became as a Jews, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law,as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law.
21 says:To them that are without law,as without law,(being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law.
22 says:To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak:I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save one.
