Hello and a very good day to everyone.
There are many people we come across in life, novel or screens. Among them, we start to feel for the characters who are depicted by the actors or actresses. Does it not excite you to know the characters personally? It always excites me. The sketch I drew is of a political figure but he is more than just a political figure; he is a man who represented dignity.
Yes, I am talking about Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, who presented dignity in the form of finding independence for language. It is he, who did not only manipulate and backed off but stood still and tried to lead, lead a nation that had the potential to rise. Yes, I am talking about Bangladesh.
We still suffer from many kinds of discrimination and if I have to be talking about the present, even now on the grounds of Bangladesh we face language discrimination. My sister often shares her terrible experience of it. Yes, she has many good experiences too but the bad ones are not any less.
As I was mostly brought up in Bangladesh, things were different for me, or so I feel. Sheikh Mujibur Rahman may have many sides to himself, but the reality is that he struggled to make us free and he never thought to do it on his own just with armies with him. He had a nation filled with people who CHOSE HIM and HIS THOUGHTS of making our NATION INDEPENDENT.
Today was his birthday and so is a day of celebration for the youth, for the children of every country who is not barricaded to speak using their local language. Happy national children's day to all my dear brothers and sisters.
Thank you all for reading till the end. Have a good day.
