Hey, nice to meet you all in photography lovers' family. That's an introduction post from me to the community. I love photography and culture, fashion and artists is my focus points. Reportage is the style that could describe me better but I would never say no to a creative photoshoot like the one I am ready to present you.
The other day I was chilling with my sister Nana which is a dope musician and a poet. We were hanging out in our garden and the hot sun of Uganda was in the highest point. Luckily I had my camera with me and we turned our boredom into creativity.
We talked a lot about nudity, woman empowerment and standards of beauty but due to Ugandan's very strict Anti-Pornographic laws, we decided to do something more smooth. Sexual content was not our intention anyway.
We wanted to show the beauty of the human body in a natural state. How amazing it is. Just the way it is including any type of size, age, or color. People tend to confuse natural nudity with sexual content.
Many black woman have issues with their skin tone and they try to bleach in order to reach the ''International'' standards of beauty. Nana on the other side embraces the dark color of her skin and shows that real beauty is to be comfortable in your own skin.
I love this photo and how the model embodies the spirit of a Goddess in her most pure form. She debouches from nature like a Nymph of the forests and the flowers.
