The view of the blue sea and the calming sound of the waves was my soul's rest last year.
Last summer, we had our vacation at the island of Malabago, at my aunt's house. My auntie lives in an island and her house faces the sea. You could just sit in the balcony and give your soul a rest it deserves.
We stayed for free, the only thing we paid is our travel fare. While we were at Malabago, I was always beside the sea, sitting on the fine sand while letting the waves get reach of my bare feet. My life was calm, and the waves made it calmer. But sitting beside the was not the only thing I did, and I will share to you more of it.
The sea was in its highest meter of high tide. I took this picture while we were rowing a small boat going to the Malabago Church. It was scary because the sea was too high and we were all dressed. In my mind, I always thought what would happen if the boat would be capsized because it was so small and there were five of us riding. It was literally overloaded.
Now, let me give you a glimpse of what was our view every morning during our stay in my Aunt's house. Everyday, we were able to look at this gem. The scene of the sunrise looked like it was painted by the most skillful artist. Well, it is really painted by a skillful and wonderful artist, because this sunrise was created by God, no wonder it is so beautiful.
We went boating while watching the calm sea and the golden sunrise. It was really serene and peaceful. And the smell of the sea soothed my soul and spirit. It was really a great summer.
My cousin took this photo of me while I was sitting at the big rock. I was looking at the painted orange skies because this time was on sunset, but the view of sunset is not visible on this side of the island, so we could only see its hues.
We went swimming and I was just holding onto this dead bamboo all the time because I was still learning how to swim, but until now I still do not know how to swim. Hehe.
We also went fishing to have our viand. We fried these poor fishes we caught. It was so fresh which was why they were so tasty.
We had a great time during our vacation in here because we got a free place to stay, free food to eat, and free swimming on the clean, clear, and blue sea of the Malabago Isand.
