"Tinago" is a Filipino language which means "hidden."
Hello everyone! Today, I will be sharing to you our most recent travel to a place which beauty cannot be hidden, Tinago Falls. This waterfall is in the boundary of Linamon, Lanao del Norte and Buru-un, Iligan City, so there are two entrances to Tinago Falls but we chose Linamon because it is nearer than Buru-un. We came from Pagadian City and we travelled for four hours just to reach this place.
We woke up at 2 a.m. and went to the bus terminal to catch the earliest Pagadian-Iligan bus trip. All of us did not have a complete sleep because of our preparation of the foods and everything. On our way to the bus terminal, our motorcycle ran out of fuel and we push it to a 24-hours gasoline station because it still so dark, not yet even dawn. What a funny experience.
When we finally caught a bus, and everything was set, after 5 kilometers of run, it broke down. And we were stuck again for 30 minutes in the middle of the road while waiting for the next bus to come. This event made this trip more memorable.
When the next bus arrived, we transferred in there and look for a comfortable sleep. Our total travel time going to Linamon, Lanao del Norte was 4 hours, and all of us were sleeping in the bus.
And finally, we reached the center of the town, and rode a tricycle to Tinago Falls. We paid all the things that needed to be paid, had a short orientation, and got our lifejackets, because swimming without lifejackets is prohibited. Then we took our journey to the falls through this 368 steps.
And hey, that's me. Do you wonder why I end up being in this place? Hahaha. But seriously, TINAGO FALLS! Your beauty is impossible to hide!
The gang took a picture at the entrance and here we aaaarrreee. We can't believe we travelled for 4 hours and we have finally reached the place.
The waterfall was so strong that our bodies were fighting against the wind on the bottom of it.
Hey, I captured this cute little rainbow for you. While I was in Tinago Falls, I was very excited to write about this adventure, and I am finally writing about it now. I hope you reach this part, and drop your experience about Tinago Falls too.
See you next time<3
