Wonderland.

I was wrong to post my watercolor work for the ntopaz contest.
My superficiality, for not having read the contest rules.

I painted a new watercolor, this time trying to tell a new journey with fantasy, through the various steps of pictorial work with my favorite medium.

How was this watercolor born?
Simply from my passions for architecture, history and the sea.

I thought of a beautiful, colorful place, full of elements to see, dream and visit.
All colored with vivacity with a subjective view of the clean and brilliant sea.

I would like to be right in that place, a bright paradise, where history and nature come together, stimulating our imagination.

I painted only an imaginary landscape, created by my vision.
I hope all my friends can dream or see at least once a place like this, to live it, to enjoy it to the full and to share it with those around you.
We live in dreams, wonders but also hopes.

these are the painted steps of my dream.

1 step
preparatory drawing in pencil

2 step
first colors on the wet sheet, drops of violet flow down

3 step
the colors on the wet paper sheet merge with one another, mixing and the drops of violet are absorbed by the yellow ocher.
A natural fusion.
I begin to color some architectural elements.

4 step
I paint the sea with cobalt blue and cerulean blue.
With magenta and violet, those are the foreground.
I begin to bring out the temple in the background, leaving the light of the white paper.

5 step
Finally those with slightly darker tones the subjects and some parts of the sea.
Taking great care to leave the lights in the sea and on the sky that correspond to the white of the paper.

Il paese delle meraviglie.

Avevo sbagliato a postare un mio lavoro ad acquarello per il contest in ntopaz.
Una mia superficialità, per non aver letto le regole del contest.

Ho dipinto un nuovo acquarello, stavolta cercando di raccontare un nuovo viaggio con la fantasia, attraverso i vari passaggi del lavoro pittorico con il mio medium preferito.

Come è nato quest'acquarello?
Semplicemente dalla mie passioni per l'architettura, la storia e il mare.

Ho pensato ad un posto bellissimo, colorato, e ricco di elementi da vedere, sognare e visitare.
Il tutto colorato con vivacità con una vista soggettiva sul mare pulito e brillante.

Vorrei essere proprio in quel posto, un paradiso luminoso, dove la storia e la natura si fondono insieme, stimolando la nostra fantasia.

Ho dipinto solo un paesaggio immaginario, creato da una mia visione.
Spero che tutti i miei amici possano sognare o vedere almeno una volta un posto come questo, di viverlo, di goderlo appieno e di condividerlo con le persone vicine.
Viviamo di sogni , di meraviglie ma anche di speranze.
