Oh man. I love the movie. Would love to watch it in IMAX next. Don't matter if it's more expensive. It's so much better than How To Train Your Dragon 3 in IMAX! It deserves to be seen in IMAX or a much bigger screen!
I'd love to share everything about it with you all but no. It'd be such a crime if I take away the enjoyment from everyone.
A Warning
Don't go to Twitter or else you'll already know the ending. Unless the tweets last night (or whenever someone posts it) have already been reported and removed, it's the best place to find spoilers. š
My Facebook newsfeed weren't that bad but my other Facebook feed was terrible! It had a major spoiler which really prompted me to go watch it already before someone else spoils it further!!!
Upon going home last night after seeing the film and checking Facebook, it was still alright. And then I checked Twitter and BOOM! Bombs everywhere! ššš
I feel so bad for those who haven't seen the movie yet. Oh so sad a lot of people would probably not enjoy it as much. Some people just don't have respect for others. Tsk tsk.
What Happens to Others When You Spoil Such A Great Movie
Just reading that one major spoiler I accidentally saw on Facebook before watching the movie made me think about it all the way until it happened. Geddemmet. I didn't expect it to happen that way but what was gonna happen was at the back of my mind. And then it happened and I was like... probably not as shocked as I should be. That's how bad spoilers are.
I still got emotional over what happened but you know, it might have been a worse reaction if I didn't know about it.
Screw the spoilers who're trying to get attention by spoiling a movie not supposed to be spoiled. Ugh.
My Short and Spoiler Free Review
At this point, all I can say is:
Avengers: Endgame > Game of Thrones Season 8
Swear. ššš
Of course there were boring scenes, enjoyable scenes and heartwrenching, tear streaking, fun and awesome scenes. I mean, wow! If you were watching with the crowd I was watching with, you'd really enjoy it too. Haha.
Good thing I rewatched all the Avengers movies, Thor: The Dark World + Captain Marvel before seeing Endgame. It refreshed almost everything for me. Hehe. I mostly wasn't scratching my head or anything from start to finish.
I didn't watch it in a normal mall cinema. I went for the cozier and indie cinema route. Say hello to my faux pink "hair" because I didn't feel comfortable to be stared at for having buzzed skinhead hair. š Took a selfie with the Avengers poster outside the ticket booth of the indie centered movie theater.
It's a good thing they showed Avengers: Endgame because I didn't need to be hassled by watching it at any mall and having to endure rush hour while trying to get home. The movie theater was near where I live so no need to travel through EDSA where all the rush hour fun is. š IMAX was sold out when I passed by a cinema at the mall before going to a meeting. ššš After that meeting at the mall I was supposed to meet someone else too.
My client for the Ortigas wellness and luxury 2 bedroom condo resale unit said to meet on another date. Hurray! Or else I wouldn't have been able to watch it ASAP. (Yeah it may be a negative thing to other sellers but I'm cool with it.) Maybe they were gonna watch it too. Didn't ask though. š
I guess I have to wait a week or so before I can walk in and watch it in IMAX.
It's safe to say the Russo Brothers really did the best they can with it. It's at par with The Avengers, the first movie. The plot twist was super cool too. Haha.
At some point I felt like, "oh they're gonna end it right here..." just like other movies. But surprisingly it went on until they tied up all the loose ends. I mean, I still have questions but maybe I'll wait a month before I'd ask around about it. š
ā The characters and story is great.
ā The acting is not lacking at all. You won't even try and notice it because you're busy watching what's gonna happen. š And when something happens you will either laugh or cry or feel all kinds of stuff.
ā The Cinematography, Production Design and Music is cool too.
Bravo Marvel Studios! Bravo Russo Brothers! Kudos to all the people who've made it a great success!
RATING:
If I was to rate it, even with some of its minor flaws, I'd give it the top and most perfect score to infinity and beyond! ā¤ š š š š āØš š
How about you? Have you seen it? Do you love it too! Don't spoil it in the comments!!! Or else. š
