Walking with attention to the details of nature frees the mind and heals the body.
While I enjoy all my walks, especially those that contain art in some way, when those walks are in nature I not only enjoy the sights, but it fills me with energy and heals me.
When the mind stops thinking about daily life and concentrates on other things, especially if those things are animals, plants with which one is in contact, the body is filled with harmony and revitalised. That is what happens to me when I am in the middle of a natural environment like this.
The walk is not just a walk but a way to get rid of worries or stress. Besides, you can enjoy the beauty.
This place, for those who like it, has an area for exercise, although in my case I prefer to walk along the many trails that this natural environment contains.
I like to pay attention to the shape of the trees and play with photography by making some logs cross my path.
Also, for those who have a dog, there is an exclusive area, I think all parks have it and inside that area there are seats for owners to wait for their dogs to play and socialise.
In most cases I like to go off the beaten track and explore the green areas, where I can also have a little picnic.
These trees are always great for me, their roots above the ground always delight me, although you still have to be careful not to trip over them.
This park in the city, but only a few steps away from the sea, is an environment where I can enjoy the vegetation and also the animals. On this occasion I could see many ducks, ducklings, swimming and also close to me. I love their colours.
On the lake there is an artificial island with some palm trees, where the birds gather to talk about their things. I know that because these ducks that came close to me told me so. They are very annoyed by the interference of the seagulls in their chats, but they are bigger and get angry if they are not allowed to participate.
That's why I think the ducklings go swimming and don't stay on the island, they understand each other.
Also this tortoise told me that he gets on better with the ducks than with the seagulls, they shout too much. It's amazing to be able to chat with the animals... or at least that's what I would like. It would be great wouldn't it?
Going around the lake and seeing the different angles of the lake creates different landscapes. Many times when turning around the lake the sun is hidden behind a cloud and makes the palm trees look practically black.
But when you are at the opposite end of the lake there is so much sun that everything shines.
Walking among the trees in the grassy area is very relaxing and I love to see the different species and kinds of trees, as well as the views further away.
I often come across parakeets on my walk, they are very used to people. They are not native to this place, but have been brought here by Argentinians.
Although I like the reflections on the water caused by the palm trees above, the shadows of the trees with the sun above are very strong and sharp.
I never miss a chance to look at the sky, because not only are there clouds, but the treetops create beautiful figures.
At one end of the park there is a rose garden, ideal for walking along its narrow inner paths and enjoying the scent of the roses and their colours.
This rose stood above the others, it was just opening and wanted to be the one to end my walk. It's nature so I indulged it.
Thank you all for joining me on this walk. I wish you a very good day. See you soon.
