This was my first time walking around Phuket Old Town on a rainy day. And it's not only me foreign tourists are walking with umbrellas to see the old city as well. Fortunately, it was only drizzling the weather was not hot. Because it's not a weekend and it's still raining all day, there aren't many tourists. I started walking from the temple to Soi Romanee. There is a new café on the corner decorated with flowers and mirrors. It is a very popular spot for tourists to take pictures including me.
Both sides used to be at a night market on a Sunday evening. A normal day will become a parking lot. But there are also shops selling goods and souvenirs, especially the weave. Whether it's a bag or a hat that is perfect for going to the beach. And the clothes will be a type of casual dress suitable for beach walks. This old town has preserved various buildings Sino-Portuguese style to maintain the original condition as much as possible. Anyone who visits the old town must take a photo with the yellow clock building on the corner of the street. It is considered the high-line of the old town ever. There is also street art scattered throughout the old city. Waiting for tourists to come to visit and take photos. And the old town has a cafe and restaurants open for tourists to taste coffee or food while taking a break from walking around the old town.
