Woundwort - Anthyllis vulneraria - Язвенник ранозаживляющий

Every day, on the streets of a big city we meet different people. They pass by, and we pass by. Each of them, this is a separate world, which for us is with seven seals, if we do not become closer to this person. Only then can we try to look at the world through the eyes of another person. This world may be richer than our impressions, or it may be very poor and we will want to urgently return to our own world. Everything happens in life.

A similar situation applies to everything that surrounds us, these are plants, fauna. Even negative experience makes us richer. Our knowledge arms us. An example of this is the knowledge of edible and poisonous mushrooms. This knowledge gives you freedom and blessing. Armed with knowledge, you will always come from the forest with a basket of mushrooms that will not harm you.

But, today, I want to erase one white spot in my knowledge about the plant world.

The plant that is depicted in these photographs is hardly visible. It grew in the thick of tall grass. It is not bright at all. Past him, it's very easy to pass by, and his little world will remain closed to us.

Appearance of this plant does not cause me a desire to smell it. Its inflorescences are covered with small hairs. It looks like some hairy spider.

But, not everything that seems dangerous to us is such. So in the case of this plant.

Its name is Anthýllis vulnerary, this plant received for its healing properties.

In folk medicine, this plant has a wide application. The main quality, is the healing of wounds and ulcers.

In pharmaceutics, this plant has not received a worthy recognition, I think it's a big mistake. It is possible that this is due to the fact that this plant is rarely seen in nature.

This conclusion I do because I rarely met this plant. These photos I did in Ukraine. In Moldova, I have not seen this plant.
I do not exclude the possibility that I was not attentive enough and passed this plant.

Let's go further. This plant belongs to the family of legumes and this makes it a relative of the usual for us peas and beans.

Looks like? It's not like it at all, but, it's true.

This is a low plant, it seemed to me, it spreads on the ground. It creates a large green mass in the place where it grows. They say that this plant is very fond of sheep. Probably for this reason sheep cheese is very useful! Just kidding. Sheep cheese is useful for a variety of reasons and factors.

As I said, this plant is able to heal ulcers, but, that's not all. Frostbites, swelling, swelling, these unpleasant moments can be overcome with lotions of gruel, which is made from this plant. These lotions are applied to the affected area.

With the disease of the upper respiratory tract drink decoctions of this herb. Epilepsy, a terrible disease, the patients bathe in the infusion of this herb and give a drink to a decoction.

As you can see, this is a nondescript plant, a real health volcano in the fight against diseases. Not everything that seems us unattractive is that. Appearance, very often, is deceptive.
