Introduction

Lets start with admitting this is the first time i really felt the FOMO. Normally i can resist it pretty well and wait for an opportunity. But this was different i want a RUNI and i missed the whitelist spot, did not have the funds ready at that moment.
When the public sale came I thoughted I still want one. So I used my staked ETH which was 0.3812.

Process of purchasing my RUNI

I never have used opensea.io, metamask and my funds where on bybit. It was hard to get the funds there. Also needed some help from the support team. When you are inexperienced in this, this is always scary with al the scams etc.
First I wanted to send my ETH from bybit to, at that moment, a coinbase wallet. This was successful apparently only on a wrong network, optimism i.s.o. mainnet. I did not know how to send it from bybit to the mainnet.

Here is what I did probably a bit overkill and to much transaction fees 😌.

Sell ETH for USDT
Buy LTC
Send LTC to Hive (via deposit link on Tribaldex)

At Tribaldex:

Sell SWAP.LTC for SWAP.HIVE
Buy SWAP.ETH
Withdraw SWAP.ETH to my metamask wallet

Ready to buy the RUNI in opensea.

I wanted to try to get number 2525, off by one.
I like the head, core and rope. I dislike the gray background and the weapon.

For now i don't know yet i like the RUNI and its possibilities in the future. i invested a little more than 0.38 ETH and the floor price is now 0.24 ETH
I could have better just bought a RUNI. I gambled on the chance of a rare or legendary RUNI but failed. I hope when they are out of print the floor price will raise.
So lost money on the transaction fees and the price of the RUNI is less but its only a loss when you sell it 😂. So keeping mine and will be using it in game and hope it has a bright future.
I definitely dislike the gas fees of ETH, the mistake i made (only with 2$) to transfer to the eth optimism network now its there and because of the gas fee I cannot send it back or swap. Anyone have an suggestion on how to do that?

I'm inexperienced in the whole crypto wallets etc. So I try to be careful with all the scams that are out there. Unfortunately sometime you read unfortunate stories about the scams. Some by experienced users and some not. Last week i read about one where the community is taking some actions to compensate. I empathized with this one and decided to also donate a tiny amount, to get him his RUNI back. IMO when many persons donate a little it should work.
