According to my app, I have 10 weeks 5 days left but I keep getting the feeling she's going to pop a couple of days early. Or perhaps it's wishful thinking on my part?
Heaps of changes going on over here one of the biggest is my diet.
Still waiting on my glucose test result. It really should be with my midwife by now and I'm wondering maybe it was sent by accident to my doctor instead ~ so gotta chase that up today.
In the meantime I'm loving my carrots. Been eating about half a kilo of carrots a day on it's own, most of the time with a dip.
Still on my avocado run but now I eat it from the shell with a cracker.
I'm defo eating more veggies these days. Not because I'm worried about the test but because my body is craving it.
I also cut out coffee, well, drinking less of it anyway, but having said that I might have a cup today.
Movement wise.. I'm slower than usual. Feel heavier and my tuck and roll move to get out of bed is getting harder to achieve, which sucks because Bub's hanging super low and right on my bladder and I feel like I need to pee constantly ~ day or night.
My belly button is also starting to pop out. Feels weird and kinda tender to the touch too. Caught a glimpse of my naked belly for the first time in ages the other day and saw all the stretch marks and the sheer size of me and her 😱 🐳🐳🤦🏻♀️.
I'm trying not to be vain and worry about weight etc so we moved the mirror from the hallway 😆. It lasted there for about 2 weeks until I couldn't stand looking at myself thundering down the hall every time I needed to go to the loo.
Painting has slowed down too since I get tired quickly and I'm usually on my feet for long periods when I paint which eventually results in aching everything.
Basically I'm like a cow at the moment. I graze on carrots and rest most of the day.
Probably not the best idea to have the baby shower just 3 and a half weeks before I pop, but we decided we're going on quarantine for a couple of months when Bub's born and so this will be the last time we see most of our friends and family in 2019.
Definitely lots going on over here. Heaps to organise and get done before she's out. Trying not to stress and be impatient but it's hard with all the aches and pains and stuff that still needs to be done eg... the aircon... Ohh and did I mention our oven died the other week? 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
All that said...
I'm looking forward to our first Christmas as a family this year.
Hope you're all doing well over here! Sorry I havent been around much xxx
