I can't remember who it was that mentioned the possibility of paying their rent with earnings around here, and on a whim, the thought just flashed across my mind.
In the past couple of months, I have done the utmost to ensure that I have not actually taken anything out from Hive-engine tokens and have staked virtually all stakable tokens in my wallet. However, it is coming to that time of the year again when my rent expires and I'm exploring ways of paying the rent.
The rent for my current place is 100,000 naira per annum, which is roughly $210. According to data from Hivestat, I earned $90 from my published posts and a further $9 from curation. This means that at this rate of earning, I should be able to pay for my rent in about two months time.
While I have no intention of selling any Leo for now, I will look at other means to raise the funds. However, based on my current Leo earnings, I could pay for my entire rent in two months if I sold and kept all the proceeds from my earnings in the period.
