Like many of you I've been caught up in the development of Steem Monsters. Enjoying the updates here on Steem and the excitement in the voices of the developers. Its an exciting and gut wrenching time for their team as they try to fix all the remaining issues with the game before launch. Finding new and irritating bugs, and finalizing music, and sounds for the game. From a developers perspective those last few months are some of the most stressful times of any project.
Now as those that follow me know, I take things I like, and turn them into 3D representations of the original. So when I started reading up on Steem Monsters I realized that They would look really REALLY cool as figurines on someones desk. So I took what I considered the easiest model, and probably one of the most Iconic from the series (of those I've seen). "The Twister Jester" and begin working.
I also considered some of the posts I've seen across the network and decided I to would create a video or animated gif of the project. So that everyone could follow along with my work. Unfortunately this is when my hard drive that I store all my work began to fail (I have a backup), and after a few hours of toil I was able to retrieve my work. Of course the video wasn't going to happen as I am now limping along with only a few gigabytes of usable storage. So instead of a video enjoy this mostly complete imagining of a 3D version of "The Dark Jester"
Also check out its looking like a pretty solid game that should be a lot of fun given the audience is big enough.
Here are a few screen shots.
