Hello hiveians
Happy Sunday and a lovely day to you all, I'm glad to bring to you the final and finished process of the plain and pattern outfit I was working on for my client.
Yesterday, I made a post on how I was able to achieve the long plain skirt which was combined with a little design from pattern fabric and it came out nice and beautiful.
Today I will be sharing with you the making of the blouse which was also combined with the plain fabric to make a complete outfit.
Let's get started
First I cut a princess dart bustier pattern on a brown paper with my client's measurement which was later placed on the pattern fabric to cut out same shape, the same fabric was placed on a matching lining to cut out the lining for the front and back bodice, all these were sewn together with a 360° flare to complete the blouse.
The flare
Finally, I cut out a puff sleeve of 2 times the armhole measurement and it was pleated on the band I cut out from the plain fabric, it was then attached to the blouse and below is the complete blouse.
