Hello everyone.
I'm glad to be back here today, it's so unfortunate that I was unable to participate in the last contest of needle work your jewellery for mothers day even when I had an idea of what to make but time did not permit me.
Few months ago, I was given a latter to vacate the apartment where I reside with reason that I sew in the apartment but all efforts to get a comfortable apartment was not successful, where I'm staying is a self contained apartment which I had to divide the room with a curtain to separate where my sewing machine and table I use to work is from where my bed is, but now, what I decided to look for is a room and parlour self contained which I intend to use the parlour as my working space while my other personal belongings will be in the room but all efforts was fruitless due to:
Lack of fund, my budget was around $200-$250 but with all my contacts and search, that amount can only get me a self contained apartment which is not even as big as where I'm staying presently, the locations of most of the building shown to me is another challenge on its own an estate agent will take you to a forest like location and tell you to pay $350 for an accommodation that when you shout, no one will hear you or to a place where there has been no power supply since last year. The better ones are on the high rent and some will ask for a year and half or two years rent from you with outrageous agency fees, all this got me feed up, to get a comfortable apartment, I will have to gather up about $450 to $500 which even if I decide to empty my hive account presently, I will be back to zero.
Honestly this has got me destabilised and uncomfortable now, I have just two weeks to vacate the apartment, I don't just know what to do. Thanks to a friend like a sister who has always been there for me, for her words of encouragement and support in every area, she's one in a million.
This has really been my reason for not being consistent in my blog, this dress was to be my Monday entry but I was so busy, even if in the middle of this, I still have to make this simple but beautiful dress for my client.
Having her measurements with me, I made a princess dart bustier straight gown with long sleeves and turtle neck then to make it gorgeous, I added a pleat at the upper bust area, as simple as that.
these are the pictorial view below.

Coupled with the fact that there has not been stable power supply I had to look for one way or the other just to get this dress delivered.
