Time passes so quickly that I have started counting it by events rather than hours and days. When I was going to work, I used to refer to the days(once a month) when I got my paycheck. Now, I count by the days I get my pension; this is the macro version.
I think of many events in the micro, i.e., weekly version, and now I remember Wednesday's walk. It seems like yesterday was Wednesday, and I can't believe that tonight, the next Wednesday, is already over.
Spring is here, and I realize I haven't recounted all the winter walks, so I'll try to fix that with another walk in the park, through what I think was the last snow of this year.
It was a long wait for the snow to settle over the city. The children were the most impatient and the season's biggest lovers, especially for sledding.
I saw many sleds on this walk. The winter that came, when no one expected it, emptied the shops of sleds, and I couldn't find one to buy for my granddaughter. I learned my lesson, and this year, I will do as a well-known Romanian saying teaches us: Buy a sledge in summer and a cart in winter!
I also saw people, especially children, happy to have a sledge.
I didn't have a sledge but a camera, so I tried to take as many pictures as I could of people walking, like me, in a park in winter.
The small lake is frozen, but luckily, it has already started to thaw near the shore, so the wild ducks have something to eat.
Again, a very small child is most interested in what is happening.
Winter scenery is rarely seen in a big city, and parks are the best places to enjoy.
I thought that park benches were bypassed by those who came to relax in the park because they were cold, but two teenagers in love want to contradict me.
I could say it's a wilderness landscape if I didn't see the blocks in the background.
It wasn't exactly a wilderness landscape, but it was enough for me to see and remember the winters of yesteryear, spent right at my grandparents' house a long time ago!
I always start with photos when I want to write a blog. Photos remind me of places, events, and feelings that turn into words.
Since we all love photography, let’s explore the captivating details captured in these photos!
A wise saying goes that an image is worth a thousand words.
I don't think so. It depends on the viewer.
Make a point of looking around and up to see what you can find to get shots of that; otherwise, you may miss it.
This is one of the recommendations made by for those who prefer walking and are used to sharing impressions and photos in his community, Wednesday Walk, every Wednesday, like this one today.
