Allow me to share with you today some of my photos of Santa Ana Parish Church or locally known as Molo church. This church is located in the district of Molo in Iloilo City city in the Philippines.

Molo church is a Spanish neo-gothic roman catholic church. It is the only gothic church in the Philippines outside of Metro Manila. This church was constructed around 1830s with a chalk roof.

The facade of the church is made of rough coral stones. There are two bell towers that have many spires and pointed arches.

This is the entrance of the church. You can directly see the altar. It has a dome shape ceiling and there are some wall paintings.
You can see the main altar in this photo. You can see in the middle the figure of Saint Anne which is the patron saint of Molo Church. There is a total of 16 female saint statues inside the church that's why they call Molo Church as the feminist church.

The church windows have rounded tops. They were decorated with wooden sunburst that looks like a shape of a fan. It looks great on an old stone wall. Which adds to its gothic style architecture. You can also see some ferns and other plants growing on the wall. It shows how old the church is.

Memorable it was a fun and memorable experience to take photos of one of the historic churches in my country. But i wasn't able to take photos of the inside of the church because there was an ongoing wedding inside. Maybe next time.
