No more gas for Europe?
The news goes over the counter today and drives the wildest speculations. It is really no pleasure to pay a gas bill and the thought of coming payments makes angry. In some countries gas bills are already burned, this is then probably a sign of resistance to the system?
How useful such an action is remains questionable, but on the other hand the complete insanity takes place. Europe realizes how dependent we are on cheap gas from Russia, the expensive stuff from the rest of the world is an imposition. The industry can sing a song about this, because production is almost not profitable at these producer prices.
Russia, however, also notices the sanctions very much, their industry is dependent on spare parts and experts from the West. In practice, this country is fixated only on raw materials, its own technology is practically non-existent. The only pipeline to China is at full capacity and generates nothing, if you compare the infrastructure to the West with it.
Oil is often transported by ship, but the sanctions are also hitting this sector hard. Russia now wants to establish its own insurance company for tankers, but I wonder if this will work.
Gas is currently being burned on a grand scale before the eyes of the world, and every day millions of dollars are directly converted into greenhouse gases. Whether this has to be symbolic or purely technical is irrelevant, the situation can only be described as insane. Let's see when this time will come to an end and North Stream 1+2 will finally be fully utilized, but for this some faces in politics would have to be replaced.
Russia would be well advised to cash in again in the near future, because the capacity of renewable energy sources is constantly increasing. Already today these energy sources are cheaper than any other medium on the market, this will then be felt in the future in the prices of end customers.
Oil, gas and nuclear will soon be a high cost factor, but it will take some time until this is the case. The Saudis are already investing a lot of petrodollars in future projects, and the Russians are unfortunately going backwards at the moment. Hydrogen will probably be the future and its production, this technology still costs a lot of money but the mass regulates the price at some point.

Kein Gas mehr für Europa?
Die News gehen heute über den Tresen und treiben die wildesten Spekulationen an. Es ist wirklich kein Vergnügen eine Gasrechnung zu bezahlen und die Gedanken an kommende Zahlungen macht wütend. In manchen Ländern werden bereits Gasrechnungen verbrannt, dies ist dann wohl ein Zeichen für den Widerstand gegen das System?
Wie sinnvoll eine solche Aktion ist bleibt fraglich, auf der anderen Seite findet aber auch der vollkommene Irrsinn statt. Europa merkt wie abhängig wir vom billigen Gas aus Russland sind, der teure Kram aus dem Rest der Welt ist eine Zumutung. Die Industrie kann hiervon ein Lied singen, denn Produktion ist bei diesen Erzeugerpreisen nahezu nicht rentabel.
Russland allerdings merkt die Sanktionen auch sehr, deren Industrie ist abhängig von Ersatzteilen und Experten aus dem Westen. Praktisch ist dieses Land nur auf Rohstoffe fixiert, eigene Technologie gibt es praktisch nicht. Die einzige Pipeline Richtung China ist ausgelastet und erwirtschaftet nichts, wenn man die Infrastruktur in den Westen damit vergleicht.
Öl wird zwar oft per Schiff transportiert, die Sanktionen treffen aber auch hier ins Mark. Jetzt will Russland eine eigene Versicherungsgesellschaft für Tanker gründen, ob dies wohl so klappt?
Gas wird momentan im großen Stiel vor den Augen der Welt verbrannt, jeden Tag werden so direkt Millionen Dollar in Treibhausgase umgewandelt. Ob dies jetzt symbolisch oder rein technisch so sein muss ist egal, die Situation kann man nur als Irre bezeichnen. Mal sehen wann diese Zeit ein Ende findet und North Stream 1+2 endlich voll ausgelastet werden, dafür müssten jedoch einige Gesichter in der Politik ersetzt werden.
Russland wäre gut daran gelegen nochmal richtig Kasse zu machen in der nächsten Zeit, denn die Kapazität an regenerativen Energiequellen steigt stetig weiter an. Schon heute sind diese Energiequellen günstiger als jedes andere Medium am Markt, dies wird dann zukünftig auch an den Preisen der Endkunden zu spüren sein.
Öl, Gas und Atom sind dann bald ein hoher Kostenfaktor, bis dies allerdings soweit ist vergeht noch etwas Zeit. Die Saudis investieren jetzt schon viele Petrodollar in zukünftige Projekte und die Russen fahren momentan leider im Rückwärtsgang. Wasserstoff wird wohl die Zukunft sein und deren Herstellung, diese Technologie kostet zwar noch viel Geld aber die Masse regelt auch hier irgendwann den Preis.
