Do you love money? Do you know someone who doesn't love money? I guess there's no one like that. Surprisingly, I decided to start this way because we've got some funny topics to discuss. One day while our Maths lecturer was trying to explain the concept of Differential Calculus and Complex Numbers, he wrote so many things on the board and then began to “blabber”, sorry I'm using such a word but that's exactly the truth because no one, I mean no one, even the sharpest student in the class didn't understand anything he said at the end. So in a way to make the class get back in order, he told us a story of life. Let's get down to what he said.
” In this life, every human has their “mad” moments, moments when you imagine the unimaginable, something that in your right senses you know would never happen. If it happens then, it's a miracle.
Then one of my colleagues, a female student asked the lecturer, have you ever had a miracle before or a witness of a case of miracle(s)? Then our lecturer switched to another story of how he survived a car accident. He told us that in a car carrying 18 people, only he and the lady who sat by him survived that accident. He told us that when the journey began, as soon as they left the park, the lady by him brought out her Bible and began to preach but it seemed no one gave her a listening ear. When she threw an open question no one showed concern. Our lecturer said he didn't want the lady to feel bad so he volunteered and answered her question and the lady said, “God be with you”. When the accident occurred, everyone fell unconscious and when he(our lecturer) woke up, he found out he was lying on a sick bed just by that same woman preaching the gospel on the bus. He later learned that they were the only two survivors of the fatal accident.
Then our lecturer told us, “That was a miracle, I believe in miracles, do you?” In my mind, I said, “Yes sir, I do”. Since that day, I believe that miracles do happen, even if I've not been a witness, but I have been a witness to a witness, it's a tangible connection.
After our lecturer concluded his talks on “miracles”, someone else said, “Sir, what of “mad” moments, you've got more to say on that. Then he replied, “Sure, I hope you'll give me listening ears” and everyone said, “Yes”.
He then asked everyone, “Have you ever been in a situation where you feel like you can just have your problems solved by any means? Let's say you're “damn” hungry and there's no food home, and then you begin to imagine reaching home to see a bowl of rice well garnished with salad and fried chicken. That's imagination, and that happens at our "mad" moments because only a madman would imagine things that would never happen”.
After saying all this he said, “That's all for today's life talk, let's get to business. So Complex Numbers are simply …..”
Since that day, I have always been so conscious of my “mad” moments. Today, the community has made me imagine something that would never happen unless a miracle occurs just like my lecturer said. Here is the reason why I asked those questions in the introduction. The prompt paraphrase: “If I'm given the opportunity to draw one thing and it will become a reality, what would that be?"
I know that may not happen but I believe in miracles and I love money as well.
So for me, I would draw a briefcase stacked with bundles of hundred-dollar notes. Wow!!!
If this ever happens miraculously, I guess I will begin to compete for the world's fiftieth richest man, lolz.
I love money. I don't hide to say that and I know everyone loves money. I will be happy to know anyone here who doesn't like money and such a person owes me just one favor. The favor is simple, just leave a comment below and we discuss it later. Then you can send me all your HBDs and HIVE, then I'll be assured you don't love money. That was a joke anyway, but it's a natural thing for a man to love money because money can solve many problems and man is always seeking ways to solve his unavoidable problems.
I have so many needs in my life right now that if I begin to mention them, I may end up making this post a million-word article. Let's not even begin with my school fees which I pay myself or feeding and the rest. So if any miracle of turning a drawing into reality is happening, I would never draw anything other than money, not just money, but bundles of money.
Let's say 98% percent of human needs are obtainable with money in the pocket and not majorly by miracles. Man's needs are limitless, and that's why man will always strive to acquire more wealth. I'm not talking about greed here, please don't misunderstand me, I'm trying to answer the question of why someone like Elon Musk would never go on a long vacation without needing to make more money or invest.
If miracles were easy to perform, then I will start my drawing tonight but it's not, lolz.
Thanks for reading.
I have decided to make this post my entry for two prompts because it's just encompassing the two. So I would say this is my entry for the #septemberinleo prompts for today, day #06 as well as the #hivenaija weekly prompt for the week, week #62.
Thanks for reading once again. The first three images are generated using Meta AI while the last one is MINE.
