There is this question I often ask myself, "Am I a human? What does a chicken see me as, a human or another bigger animal but without feathers? Then the question goes to everyone, what do you think other animals view you as?
Humans are special animals with larger brains relative to body size. Humans are pentadactyl and these digits are opposable making humans have the ability to carry many tasks unachievable by other animals. Humans are just too intelligent that they have studied themselves and also made studies about other animal species.
A lot of philosophers made a great impact on the study of human evolution. Some of these great philosophers are Aristotle, Charles Darwin, who is considered the father of evolutionary biology, Ernst Haeckel, Russell Wallace and the rest. The Bible believes that God created man but Darwin as a scientist believed humans evolved from a common progenitor, the ape-like ancestors. Though there are many mythologies about the existence of the first man, all I know is that man is getting stronger and wiser everyday, upgrading and gaining more knowledge than every other creature in the animal kingdom.
Humans are social animals. Humans have feelings and emotions meaning that one's actions can affect the feelings of another. The environment too can affect human feelings. Humans show parental care for a longer time than most other animals.
I am a human and I also have feelings. I woke up this morning and noticed my Inleo premium account has just approximately nine days to expire and I felt bad because I don't have hope for the next subscription, but I can't cheat time, tomorrow it will turn to eight days left and nothing can change it.
For me, I feel humans have a purpose to serve. Humans are supposed to maintain their species by procreation and also change the world in which they live. Humans have feelings and remember past events by creating memorable figures or statues. Humans build and destroy. Just imagine how many great works of men have been destroyed during wars. Humans are meant to preserve the works of nature which they came to meet but in some ways, humans are destroying them gradually. Industrialization has a lot of impact on the environment, pollution has caused several damages to this planet but that same man that effected it is still working towards correcting his errors. Humans are really amazing creatures.
Humans are intelligent species of the animal kingdom. We are amazing creatures and we are capable of adapting to different environments, weather and climates. It's just amazing that humans, to adapt to hot weather, have developed air conditioners, fans and other cooling systems. Humans no longer hate some aspects of nature but now adapt to it by helping themselves with improvement in science and technology. Seasons are now seen as a thing of the time, there are summer, winter and spring seasons and humans survive them even if they come harsh.
Talking about our body mechanism, humans are very specialized animals. We are homeostatic animals meaning that our body can stabilize a host of variables such as temperatures, body fluid and ions concentration, body pH and lots more. The human body is thermoregulation, this means it observes thermoregulation as it maintains constant internal temperature no matter the temperature of the surroundings. This has helped the human body and other organs function effectively. The brain is a very awesome part of the human body that has control over every other part of the body.
One aspect of human history I have always appreciated is the diversity of culture. Humans are born into culture, this means that humans made culture, every culture was one day initiated by a group of individuals and others were born to inherit them. Humans have this unique phenomenon of cultural diversity and this culture differs from place to place and could be used to identify individuals.
