To my friends who love food, how are you all and have a nice day.
And because it's raining here in our area and it's hard to go out because the road is muddy. And being inside the house and even doing nothing, it's easy to get hungry when it's rainy like this.
And I immediately checked the kitchen to see what could be cooked and I was sad when I saw the carrots because they were about to rot. So I thought of something to cook that I could use the carrots for. And I thought of cooking a pancit canton guisado so that I can use the carrots and not rot. And I immediately got pechay from the garden to make the pancit nutritious. And I'm excited to serve the pancit because I know everyone will love it.
And by the way maybe some of you here are confused by the word pancit. Pancit is what we usually call noodles or pasta. And whatever is cooked as long as it is made of pasta or noodles the first thing we can mention is pancit.
And let's go back to my pancit canton guisado and I'll show you how I prepared and cooked it. And this is what I did.
The first thing I did was gather all the ingredients.
Ingredients
Pancit canton
Pancit sotanghon
Chicken meat
Pork meat
Pechay
Carrots
Garlic
Onions
Spring onions
Oysters sauce
Salt
Magic sarap
Cooking oil
Water
Preparations
Wash and cut the ingredients like carrots, garlic, onions and spring onions and set aside.
Soak the pancit canton and pancit sotanghon and also set aside.
And prepare the salt, magic sarap, oysters sauce, cooking oil and water and set aside as well.
And wash and cut the pork and chicken meat and also the pechay and set aside.
And let's proceed to cooking.
First, put enough cooking oil in a hot pan and saute the garlic, onion until it turns golden brown.
And add the chicken and pork meat, mix it and immediately season it like salt, magic sarap and oysters sauce and mix again.
And after a while add a little water in case the meat is cooked. And add the carrots and wait for it to boil and taste first then add the pancit sotanghon and canton. Mix it well. And put the pechay and follow the spring onions and mix again. And after a while because the pechay is easy to cook, it can be served.
Here's my cooked pancit canton guisado.
The pancit that everyone loves especially in the rainy season.
That's all about my food blog today and I hope you love it. And if you have time try to cook it and you might like it. And thank you for reading and join me again in my next post.
See you again and thank you very much.
