Like seriously, I don't feel surprised when I see people who talk about the impossibility to make money online without investing a dime. Many of them would tell you it's a scam that there's no way you can do things online and get rewarded with money. The fact is I was once like that. I've loved using the system and surfing the internet right from secondary school, but give no attention to online making money adverts. I see it as an impossible idea that people are using to reap other people's sweat. And what fueled my unbelief attitude more was the rampant yahoo yahoo activities that took root in our country as at then. Many online fraudsters dupe online people and live in luxury. This also made online business a no go area for me. All I did was go to facebook, and other social media handles, chat, make video calls, play games and compete with other users. I was just having fun and nothing more
I never believed at first
When doge coin was launched in 2013, I saw the way people were rushing it like cake, but you know when you don't believe in something, it won't freak you out. I didn't shake my body to buy a piece. That was one of the early opportunities I came across to hoard crypto because it was very cheap. My disbelief made me shrug off buying it and I continued living my life on chatting and having fun catching on social media. Then a friend told me about steem around early 2017. I didn't give a damn about it because I wasn't interested. But with time, I began to see the possibility of making money online. I learnt about the history of money and understood that it's all about adoption. When a group of people come together and agree to put value on something, it becomes valuable. I was seeing coins as nothing because I didn't understand the concept behind electronic money. The only thing that appeared to me was fiat. Today, if the world agrees that gold is worthless and refuses to trade it, it would become cheap and be found everywhere on the street because it has lost its value. The more people adopt something, the greater its value. The world has come to know about digital assets. I'm glad that I did come to realize that there are more important things to do online than chatting on facebook and other social media. Truth be told, I've not visited my facebook page in months, but I'm always online
Today, if I tell people about blockchain technology and they refuse to see the light from what I'm saying, I don't feel bad. I've been in their shoes before and I understand every bit of their negative reactions. There was a time I was called a scammer when I told a man about cryptocurrency. You know how that feels right? I've had countless encounters like that, but I really never give a damn about it. Some of them later came to apologize when they eventually got the point. I still preach blockchain to people till this day. He who has an ear, let him hear what the spirit is saying. Lolz. It really pays to listen to the advice that would pay when Opay account refuses to pay. Blockchain technology/AI is the way forward
