I started my adventure in Splinterlands for pure fun and curiosity, and over time I have accumulated interesting and valuable cards but my game strategy has always been short-sighted. in reality I was also quite convinced that I had arrived late and that I had wasted precious time. But the birth of Modern Rank has provided the opportunity for new players to be able to build a more competitive deck of cards and compete in a more balanced league.
So I made the decision to sell all my Beta cards and some valuable Untamed cards, but not functional to a competitive game strategy, and instead build a deck focusing on the most recent Chaos Legion edition, also taking advantage of the very low prices of the cards, a great opportunity for those who want to start even now.
My initial strategy is to prepare a deck of cards that has the final goal of the season to reach the Diamond league. So I started upgrading all CL summoners to at least level 5 (only Tarsa is level 6), excluding Dragon whose reached level is 3 out of a maximum of 4. At this point I upgraded all cards according to scheme 6 -5-4-3, in order of common, rare, epic and legendary cards.
I'm almost done with this achievement, which I remember only affects CL cards. The next phase will be to focus on Riftwatchers cards instead, with the same card boost strategy.
This strategy has paid off for me a lot. With the old cards and participation in the Wild rank, I usually finished the season in Gold I, currently I've reached Diamond II! I'm sure I can improve even more, with Riftwatchers cards in fact I could even reach Diamond I, maybe! The strategy works though and I'm getting more and more excited to grow my deck of cards. I hope that the value of SPS can grow in the future and thus convert my staking rewards into larger amounts of DEC, in order to buy more cards and grow up to the Champions league!

The low card prices, also caused by the large number of prints and availability of Chaos Legion cards, are a great entry point for new players. In fact, it is possible to build an excellent deck of cards by spending little, compared to the cards of previous editions. It will also be interesting to observe the upcoming airdrops of CL cards in order to better determine which Summoner to upgrade and consequently which cards to buy on the market!
Furthermore, the strategy that each player sets himself can undergo natural variations, in order to improve his deck of cards and climb the ranking of the best players, also obtaining higher rewards!

Ho iniziato la mia avventura in Splinterlands per puro divertimento e curiosità, e con il passare del tempo ho accumulato carte interessanti e di valore ma la mia strategia di gioco è sempre stata non lungimirante. in realtà ero anche abbastanza convinto di essere giunto tardi e di aver perso tempo prezioso. Ma la nascita del Modern Rank ha fornito la possibilità ai nuovi giocatori di poter costruire un mazzo di carte più competitivo e competere in una lega più equilibrata.
Così ho preso la decisione di vendere tutte le mie carte Beta e alcune Untamed di valore, ma non funzionali ad una strategia di gioco competitiva, e costruire invece un mazzo focalizzando sulla più recente edizione Chaos Legion, approfittando anche dei prezzi molto bassi delle carte, una ghiotta opportunità per chi volesse iniziare anche solo ora.
La mia strategia iniziale è quella di preparare un mazzo di carte che ha come obiettivo finale di stagione il raggiungimento della lega Diamond. Così ho iniziato a potenziare tutti i summoner CL almeno a livello 5 (solo Tarsa è a livello 6), ad esclusione di Dragon il cui livello raggiunto è 3 su un massimo di 4. A Questo punto ho potenziato tutte le carte secondo lo schema 6-5-4-3, in ordine carte comuni, rare, epiche e leggendarie.
Ho quasi terminato questo obiettivo, che ricordo riguarda solo le carta CL. La fase successiva sarà quella di concentrarmi invece sulle carte Riftwatchers, con la stessa strategia di potenziamento carte.
Questa strategia mi ha fruttato molto. Con le vecchie carte e la partecipazione al rank Wild, generalmente terminavo la stagione in Gold I, attualmente invece ho raggiunto Diamond II! Sono certo di poter migliorare ancora, con le carte Riftwatchers infatti potrei anche raggiungere Diamond I, forse! La strategia però è funzionante e sono sempre più eccitato di accrescere il mio mazzo di carte. Spero che il valore di SPS in futuro possa crescere e così convertire le mie rewards dello staking in quantità più consistenti di DEC, al fine di comprare altre carte e crescere fino a raggiungere la lega Champions!

I prezzi bassi delle carte, causati anche dal gran numero di stampe e disponibilità delle carte di Chaos Legion, sono un ottimo punto di ingresso per i nuovi giocatori. Infatti è possibile costruire un ottimo mazzo di carte spendendo poco, rispetto alle carte delle precedenti edizioni. Sarà anche interessante osservare i prossimi airdrops delle carte CL in modo da determinare meglio quale Evocatore potenziare e di conseguenza le carte da acquistare sul mercato!
Inoltre, la strategia che ogni giocatore si imposta, può subire variazioni naturali, in modo da migliorare il proprio mazzo di carte e scalare la classifica dei migliori giocatori, ottenendo anche ricompense più elevate!
