Taking care of children has taken different dimensions when compared to the days of old. In the days of old, parents value their children more than anything on earth. It was once said that to be a parent is not an easy task but to parent a child must take extra mile. Children are the leaders of tomorrow, heritage of God and God's gift.
Many children today are brought into this life by their parents without solid or good planning or reason. Before a child is brought into this life, there suppose to be proper planning. Nowadays girls of 15years do get unwanted pregnancy which suppose not to be so. There suppose to be marriage before bearing children. There is a premature way of getting pregnant and bearing children and matured way of pregnancy and also bearing children. Premature way is when the girl does not have what it takes to become a mother or not yet gotten married while the matured way is when a girl has what it takes to bear a child or has gotten married and can cater for the child, and also can equally have feelings for such child.
Stable and standard way of living has made many parents today to fail in terms of taking care of their children. Many parents today leave their children for work without taking proper care of such children. Such parents take their jobs more seriously than their children. They put their job fitst because they don't want to be sacked. Such parents keep their children under the care of their maid or maiden which may later have diverse effect on such child. It is only parents that can give the quality care a child needs and the whole and major love he or she needs. The love you have for your children determines how, whom and what they will become in future.
Lack of discipline is one of the major factor the parent need to put into consideration. Parents of nowadays are less concerned of what their children do, when they come back home after being out for some hours and the kind of friends they keep. This will subjects the child to so many bad habits just because the parent refuse to discipline such child. Way world comes in which later destroys the life of such child.
Unstable relationship where there is no love is another way parents do keep or make their children go way worldly. Divorce can make the child movement not preventable. Such child will have the freedom to do whatever he or she likes and wants which may make the life of such child go astray. In a solid relationship, there must be love in other to make good home. Once you are ready to go into any relationship that will leads to marriage, ensure that you both have feelings of love for each other. Both parties must be able to tell each other the truth and must trust each other. They must be God fearing type. Broken home does not suit our children, does not make them have solid love for people in the outside world, does not make them have fear for their parents but put into them the spirit of devilish acts.
As a parent you have the major authority over your children and have the directions you want your children to follow. Your behaviour matters most because your children can emulate who you are. You have all rights to discipline your child once found faulty. You have all responsibilities to make your child a better one in life and in the society at large.
