Meme coins are mean to be launch for fun and entertainment purposes. Meme coins do not have a usecase so it can be very risky to invest in them. The first Memecoin in crypto world was Dogecoin (doge) which got huge attention earlier because of Tesla's CEO Elon Musk. It made many holders rich in the past when it got hyped. Now the dogecoin is dropped a lot from its highest price, this gave loss to many holders.
Similarly we had Shib memecoin which is the second most hyped meme coin which got a lot of attention as a result it got listed on the biggest crypto exchange Binance. Binance stated at the time of listing that they have listed $Shib because of the strong community it has. This move of Binance Was a big slap to all other good projects that have solid usecase and strong teams behind it. Instead of listing quality projects Binance preferred a memecoin which was really a bad movement.
We have currently the most hyped memecoin named as $Pepe . This is another shit that got popular and Binance listed it too. People invested in it Blindly. Now the price of Pepe Token is big down almost more than 70%. This has put the customers investment into the drain. Many took profit while others are crying. This Is How Memcoins making people poor and rich.
Investing in any memecoin is very risky, you may lose or gain money. These are based on pump and dump principle. Actually hype is created about a memecoin at first by some people . These people already hold bags of these memecoins. Once they get enough people to invest , they sell their bags and take profit. Price crashes as a result all other holders bear the loss.
Well, its strongly advised to not invest in any memecoin because of the risk of losing money. Many Memecoins projects have dine fraud and run. Rug Pull is a common practice in meme coin world. Invest only in a solid project which has solid usecase and team behind it. Dont be greedy as it will only give you loss.
