Hello Hivers, Lions, and Lionesses! Happy weekend to you all.
I can't believe we have finally reached the end of the month. It'd been hard sometimes to post every day this month, but I did it. And we are on the last day of the #HiveBloPoMo. So cheers to me and to everyone who did it!
But this was not the only important thing I have achieved on Hive in April. This month, I also took my first steps to start publishing on Leofinance and not only accumulate Hive but also Leo.
So I'm going to make an account of some achievements I've had on the Blockchain this month to keep a record. And maybe they will be useful as a reference for someone else.
Hive
I have continued being focused on growing my account. But in April, for the first time this year, I did not participate in the Hive PUM. However, I am ready for PUD tomorrow.
Although, I have decided to slightly change the strategy I've been following until now of doing Power Up to everything I earned in Hive so far. This month, I've decided to keep an amount of the liquid rewards in HBD to take advantage of the 20% APR in savings.
Even so, tomorrow, I will be powering up, and my account will reach 1300 HP.
My goal is for July 5th, my official birthday on the blockchain, although I started writing a few months later to reach 2000 HP.
April was a good month in terms of curation rewards. In absolute terms, the amount of $10.21 HP isn't much. But in April, I earned almost a third of the all-time amount I have earned in curation rewards. This was helped by the fact I had the HPUD prize delegations for April.
And this does not include what I have received for delegations I have made to curators' accounts. So little by little, the passive income that I can earn from it is increasing every day.
Leo
This month has also started my journey at Leofinance. And although I only published a couple of posts, I've managed to bring my number of Leo's at stake up to 54 from the 4 I had before.
One thing I will make a point of is to every month do some Leo powerup at the beginning of each month as well. So for tomorrow, I will be looking to change some of the tokens I have in Hive-Engine to power up Leo as well. More about this in my #HivePUD post tomorrow.
Also, a reason for wanting to increase my Leo staking is the Leo Legends project, which I found out about thanks to my friend .
And thinking about having at least 250 Leo by the end of May seems like more than a reasonable goal.
Polycub and Cub
In April, I entered the Defi world in the Leo environment with Polycub. I've added something more to the Polycub from my initial purchase, and I have everything at stake. In May, I hope to add more as well as some Cube to my holdings.
It's exciting to see what's ahead for PolyCub in the coming weeks and months. Take a look at The High-Level Roadmap for LeoFinance's DeFi Branch | CubFinance and PolyCUB.
And one of the aspects of the announcement that most piqued my interest is the imminent launch of pHive. Which, in my opinion, will increase the interest in PolyCUB.
Rising Stars
I was hesitant to include this here. But then I thought I should. I don't consider myself a gamer at all, but since the end of March, I've been playing Rising Stars almost daily. It's my first approach to Play2Earn.
Aside from a few hives, which I used to buy a couple of energy boosters, I have invested practically nothing. I reached level 28, and I have 36 cards. So far, everything I've earned has been used to advance in the game and buy cards. But from May onwards, I hope to be able to continue advancing but also to use a small percentage of what I earn in the game to go into some of Leo Defi's projects.
These are some of the few steps forward for a small feline that hopes to further advance in its journey on the blockchain in May.
Remember that tomorrow is Hive Power Up Day. And how about, if you like me, also do some Leo's power up;)
See you then. Thank you for reading!
