Estos hilos son muy conocidos en Venezuela ya que se incluyen en la lista de útiles escolares para los niños de prescolar. Actualmente se pueden comprar en cualquier negocio o bodega. La semana pasada entré a varias tiendas y ya estaban en anaqueles los estambres de todos los colores. Es bueno saber que estas madejas pequeñas se ofrecen en diferentes presentaciones: madejas de 10 gm, 12 gm y 15 gm. Puede variar el peso según las marcas. Yo te recomiendo que compres un poco más de la cantidad que estimas usar para tus proyectos en una sola compra. Suele pasar que los colores nunca son idénticos, entonces nuestro tejido queda con degradaciones.

El modelo de llavero que hice para mostrarles es de un HELADO en forma de barquilla, me inspiré ya que en estos días he disfrutado un montón de ricas barquillas que venden en el centro. A pesar de no ser una comensal frecuente de helados en estos últimos meses me han provocado mucho.
The keychain model I made to show you is of an ICE CREAM in the shape of an ice cream cone, I was inspired by the fact that these days I have enjoyed a lot of delicious ice cream cones that they sell downtown. Despite not being a frequent ice cream eater in recent months they have provoked me a lot.

🍦 The materials I used to weave this keychain are:

🍦 El procedimiento requiere conocer los puntos básicos del crochet punto cadena (pc), punto alto (pa), punto deslizado (pd), punto puff.
- Para empezar definimos el tamaño de la barquilla. Para ello tejeremos 7 puntos altos sobre una cadena base de 9 puntos cadenas. Esta la tejeremos con color beige o marrón claro. Seguidamente haremos dos vueltas de aumentos solo en el primer punto y en el último. En la tercera vuelta debemos tener 11 puntos altos.

- To begin with we define the size of the nacelle. To do this we will knit 7 double crochet stitches over a base chain of 9 chain stitches. We will knit this chain with beige or light brown color. Then we will knit two rows of increases only in the first and last stitch. In the third row we should have 11 double crochet stitches.
- La tercera vuelta del tejido anterior la vamos a cerrar con el primer color de hilo que representará uno de los sabores de nuestra barquilla. La mía es de tres sabores: menta, fresa y chocolate. Subimos con tres cadenas y hacemos un punto puff, tres puntos altos cerrados juntos. Debemos hacer 5 iguales separados por una cadena. Posteriormente vamos a cerrar el último punto con el siguiente color de hilo y tejeremos cuatro puntos puff. Así continuaremos tejiendo cada vuelta hasta llegar a la quinta vuelta donde solo haremos 1 puff.
- The third loop of the previous weaving we are going to close with the first color of yarn that will represent one of the flavors of our basket. Mine is three flavors: mint, strawberry and chocolate. We go up with three chains and make a puff stitch, three high stitches closed together. We should make 5 of the same stitches separated by a chain. Then we will close the last stitch with the next color of yarn and we will knit four puff stitches. We will continue knitting each row until we reach the fifth row where we will knit only 1 puff stitch.
- Al finalizar el último punto puff cortamos la hebra y procedemos a esconder todas las demás con la aguja lanera. Aprovecharemos de ir dando mejor forma al helado. Una vez concluido este paso tomamos las cadenas y formamos el llavero. Es el último paso que haremos para ver completado este hermosos modelo de llavero en forma de HELADO. A mí me encantó. Se hace rápido y podemos usar estas pequeñas hebras de hilo que siempre tenemos de sobras.
- At the end of the last puff stitch we cut the yarn and proceed to hide all the other yarns with the knitting needle. We will take the opportunity to give the ice cream a better shape. Once this step is finished we take the chains and form the keychain. This is the last step to complete this beautiful keychain model in the shape of ICE CREAM. I loved it. It is quick to make and we can use these little strands of yarn that we always have leftover.
