HOMEMADE BAG DISPENSER.
Hola a todos. Feliz día ☺️ tarde o noche según sea el lugar desde donde me lees. Te envío un abrazo de año nuevo porque aquí deseamos paz y prosperidad hasta el mes de febrero.
Son pocas las bolsas plásticas que tenemos en casa, evitamos traerlas ya que luego se nos acumulan y no sabemos qué hacer con ellas para no botarlas. Desde hace algunos años usamos bolsos de tela para cuando vamos a hacer las compras. He conservado algunas bolsas plásticas gruesas y una térmica que son lavables. Sin embargo, en ocasiones debemos traer algunos productos en bolsas y las reutilizamos guardando alimentos en el congelador o convirtiéndolas en deposito de basura.
Es por ello que quise realizar un DISPENSADOR DE BOLSAS pequeño, para mantenerlas en orden y limpias.

There are few plastic bags that we have at home, we avoid bringing them because then they accumulate and we don't know what to do with them so we don't throw them away. For some years now we have been using cloth bags when we go shopping. I have kept some thick plastic bags and a thermal bag that are washable. However, sometimes we have to bring some products in bags and we reuse them for storing food in the freezer or turning them into garbage cans.
That is why I wanted to make a small BAG DISPENSER, to keep them in order and clean.

PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA ELABORACIÓN./PROCEDURE FOR THE ELABORATION.
✳️ Empecé limpiando, secando y cortando el envase platico. Solo retiré el fondo de la botella y conservé el resto.
✳️ Usando como guía un círculo de cartón, marqué un círculo en la parte superior de la botella, cerca del pico o cerca de donde está la tapa. Luego ayudándome con un exacto y las tijeras corté el plástico y dejé abierto un orificio.
✳️ I started by cleaning, drying and cutting the plastic container. I removed only the bottom of the bottle and kept the rest.
✳️ Using a cardboard circle as a guide, I marked a circle on the top of the bottle, near the spout or close to where the cap is. Then helping myself with an exacto and scissors I cut the plastic and left a hole open.
✳️ Con dos trozos de cartón en forma circular realicé la tapa del dispensador. Dibujé dos círculos sobre el cartón, después los recorté y seguidamente los forré ambos con una de las telas seleccionadas. Esta tela es muy linda, pero solo tengo disponibles pocos centímetros, así que preferí aprovecharla para este proyecto.
✳️ Una vez forrados los cartones los uní pegándolos por el lado donde no quedó mucha tela. Siempre comprobando que quedara a la medida del orificio principal del envase.
✳️ With two pieces of cardboard in a circular shape I made the lid of the dispenser. I drew two circles on the cardboard, then cut them out and then lined them both with one of the selected fabrics. This fabric is very nice, but I only have a few centimeters available, so I preferred to take advantage of it for this project.
✳️ Once the cartons were lined, I glued them together on the side where there wasn't much fabric left. Always checking that it was the same size as the main hole of the container.
✳️ Con una tirita de cartón forrada con la tela aterciopelada de color rojo realicé la manilla de la tapa. Para forrar esta tira de cartón usé la pistola y el silicón caliente. Me encanta esta tela, pero solo tenía ese pedacito. Igualmente corté una tirita más delgada para cubrir el orillo de la tapa.
✳️ With a strip of cardboard lined with the red velvet fabric I made the handle of the lid. To line this strip of cardboard I used the gun and hot silicone. I love this fabric, but I only had that little piece. I also cut a thinner strip to cover the edge of the lid.
✳️ El envase seco y limpio, ya con el orificio realizado lo forré con la tela roja de cuadros. Unté pegamento blanco por toda la botella y fui estirando la tela procurando que pegara perfectamente y sobresalieran unos centímetros de cada lado. También forré la tapa con tela roja.
✳️ The dry and clean bottle, with the hole already made, I lined it with the red checkered fabric. I smeared white glue all over the bottle and stretched the fabric, making sure it stuck perfectly and protruded a few centimeters on each side. I also lined the lid with red fabric.
✳️ Una vez seco el pegamento blanco procedí a cortar la tela ubicada en el orificio que abrí al envase. Usé la tijera pequeña para cortar varios triángulos y después corté esos triángulos con la tijera grande.
✳️ La parte de la tela sobrante que se ve del lado de la tapa de la botella la usé como moño, allí apreté con una tirita de tela roja e hice un nudo. Luego hice un lazo y allí lo pegué.
✳️ Once the white glue was dry I proceeded to cut the fabric located in the hole I opened to the container. I used the small scissors to cut several triangles and then cut those triangles with the large scissors.
✳️ The part of the leftover fabric that you see on the side of the bottle cap I used as a bow, there I tightened with a strip of red fabric and tied a knot. Then I made a bow and glued it there.
✳️ Para completar la decoración realicé un borde con tela roja sobre la tela cuadrada del orificio. También pegué una flor reciclada que tenía en las bolsas.
✳️ Para finalizar le pedí a mi hijo que abriera dos orificios pequeños alineados en la parte de atrás del envase. Él usó su cautín y quedaron perfectos. Por allí pasé una hebra de hilo pabilo color blanco e hice el guindadero o colgante.
✳️ To complete the decoration I made a border with red fabric over the square fabric of the hole. I also glued a recycled flower I had in the bags.
✳️ To finish I asked my son to cut two small holes lined up on the back of the container. He used his soldering iron and they were perfect. I threaded a strand of white wick thread through the holes and made the pendant or pendant.
🙋 Yo lo veo precioso. Lo colgué cerca de la cocina para guardar las pocas bolsas que entran a casa. Este dispensador es pequeño, usé una botella de refresco de litro y medio. Los dispensadores pueden hacerse de diferentes tamaños según la necesidad del hogar.
🙋 I think it's beautiful. I hung it near the kitchen to hold the few bags that come into the house. This dispenser is small, I used a 1 1/2 liter soda bottle. Dispensers can be made in different sizes depending on the need of the household.
