Hace unos cuantos a帽os estudi茅 en una escuela muy bonita y grande, su nombre es Escuela B谩sica "Miguel Villavicencio". La escuela est谩 ubicada en mi ciudad natal Caracas-Venezuela. En esta escuela viv铆 momentos que jam谩s olvidar茅, conoc铆 a los mejores maestros y tuve muchos amiguitos. De las instituciones educativas en las que he estudiado la escuela Miguel Villavicencio es para m铆 la mejor, cuenta con un auditorio espectacular. El patio para el recreo y hacer ejercicios es enorme, tambi茅n hay all铆 un gimnasio, un preescolar, ba帽os, cantina y otros espacios para el disfrute y la educaci贸n de los ni帽os. Al menos as铆 la recuerdo.
Fue all铆 en esa escuela donde me present茅 como artista por primera vez. Mi mam谩 dice que yo disfrut茅 much铆simo ese d铆a. La verdad yo lo recuerdo de forma diferente. Tengo muy bien grabado en mi memoria aquel disfraz de ratoncita que me pusieron para actuar. Era yo a煤n muy ni帽a, sin embargo lo recuerdo gratamente.
A few years ago I studied in a very nice and big school, its name is Escuela B谩sica "Miguel Villavicencio". The school is located in my hometown Caracas-Venezuela. In this school I lived moments that I will never forget, I met the best teachers and I had many friends. Of all the educational institutions in which I have studied, the Miguel Villavicencio school is for me the best, it has a spectacular auditorium. The playground for recreation and exercise is huge, there is also a gymnasium, a preschool, bathrooms, canteen and other spaces for the enjoyment and education of children. *At least that's how I remember it.
It was there in that school where I performed as an artist for the first time. My mother says that I enjoyed that day very much. The truth is that I remember it differently. I have very well engraved in my memory that little mouse costume they put me in to perform. I was still a little girl, but I remember it fondly.

Este proyecto surge luego de participar en un concurso de la comunidad #BDCOMMUNITY por lo que reviv铆 gratos momentos de mi vida infantil. Y ya saben, yo me emociono y enseguida voy a tomar las agujas, es inevitable. Les presento entonces al RATONCITO MIGUEL, un lindo personaje de mis recuerdos de ni帽a.
This project arose after participating in a contest of the #BDCOMMUNITY community, so I relived pleasant moments of my childhood life. And you know, I get excited and immediately I'm going to take the needles, it's inevitable. So I present to you MIGUEL MOUSE, a cute character from my childhood memories.

馃悁RATONCITO MIGUEL A CROCHET.
CROCHET MOUSE MIGUEL.馃悁
Los materiales que utilic茅 son:
馃悁 Hilos pabilos y estambre.
馃悁 Aguja de crochet de 2,5 mm.
馃悁 Aguja lanera.
馃悁 Tijeras.
馃悁 Algod贸n para rellenar.
馃悁 Ojos locos o m贸viles.
馃悁 Pegamento.
The materials I used are:
馃悁 Thread wicks and yarn.
馃悁 2.5 mm crochet needle.
馃悁 Wool needle.
馃悁 Scissors.
馃悁 Cotton for stuffing.
馃悁 Crazy or movable eyes.
馃悁 Glue.
El procedimiento consiste en tejer por partes: la cabeza, el cuerpo, la cola, las patas y los bracitos. Adicional tej铆 una zanahoria para ponerla en su mano. Luego se unen con costura cada una de las partes para formar la figura del ratoncito. Prefer铆 usar el hilo azul claro antes que el gris para que mi ratoncito 馃悁 se vea m谩s tierno.
The procedure consists of knitting in parts: the head, the body, the tail, the legs and the little arms. In addition, I knitted a carrot to put in his hand. Then each of the parts are sewn together to form the figure of the mouse. I preferred to use light blue yarn rather than gray yarn to make my mouse 馃悁 look more cuddly.
馃悁 La cabeza.
- Iniciamos con un anillo m谩gico de 6 pb en hilo de color rosado. Inmediatamente tejemos la siguiente vuelta de 1pb-1 aumento. Antes de cerrar la vuelta cambiamos a hilo color azul y tejemos una vuelta sin aumentos. Seguimos tejiendo las pr贸ximas dos vueltas con aumentos(2p-1aum/3pb-1aum) despu茅s tejemos tres vueltas sin aumentos. Continuamos haciendo otra vuelta de aumento (4pb-1aum) m谩s tres vueltas seguidas sin aumentos. Luego tejemos una vuelta de disminuci贸n (4pb-1dism) y la 煤ltima vuelta (1pb-1dism) antes de tejer esta vuelta colocamos en algod贸n para rellenar. Cerramos completamente con la aguja lanera.
馃悁 The head.
- We start with a magic ring of 6 bp in pink yarn. Immediately we knit the next row of 1bp-1 increase. Before closing the row, we change to blue yarn and knit one row without increases. We continue knitting the next two rows with increases (2p-1aum/3pb-1aum) and then we knit three rows without increases. We continue knitting another increase row (4pb-1aum) plus three more rows without increases. Then we knit one decrease row (4pb-1dism) and the last row (1pb-1dism) before knitting this row we put in cotton to fill in. We close completely with the knitting needle.
馃悁 El cuerpo.
- Iniciamos con 6pb en un am. Luego 6aum de pb. Continuamos haciendo vueltas con aumentos hasta llegar a 3pb-1aum. Seguidamente tejemos cinco vueltas sin aumentos. Despu茅s empezamos con las disminuciones y hacemos una con 3pb-1dism y otra de 2pb-1dism. Seguimos tejiendo 5 vueltas sin aumentos ni disminuciones. Aprovechamos de colocar el algod贸n para rellenar. Finalizamos con dos vueltas de disminuciones: 1pb-1dism y una vuelta se solo disminuciones. Cerramos completamente con la aguja lanera.
馃悁 The body.
- We start with 6pb in an am. Then 6aum of bp. We continue making rounds with increases until we reach 3pb-1aum. Next we knit five rounds without increases. Then we start with the decreases and we knit one with 3pb-1dism and another with 2pb-1dism. We continue knitting 5 rows without increases or decreases. We take the opportunity to place the cotton to fill in. We finish with two rows of decreases: 1pb-1dism and one row of decreases only. Close completely with the knitting needle.
馃悁 Las orejas.
- Tejemos con hilo color rosado un am de 6pb. Luego 6 a煤n de pb, seguimos con 1pb-1aum. Cerramos y dejamos hebra para coser a la cabeza.
馃悁 The ears.
- We knit with pink yarn an am of 6bp. Then 6 even of bp, continue with 1pb-1aum. We close and leave yarn to sew to the head.
馃悁 Los brazos.
- Tejemos con hilo color rosado un am de 6pb. Hacemos cambio de color a azul. Luego tejemos cinco vueltas de solo pb. Cerramos y rematamos dejando hebra para coser al cuerpo.
馃悁 The arms.
- We knit with pink yarn an am of 6pb. We make color change to blue. Then we knit five rows of single crochet. We close and finish off leaving yarn to sew to the body.
馃悁 Las patas.
- Tejemos con hilo color rosado un am de 6pb. Seguimos con 1pb-1aumento. Luego tejemos dos vueltas de solo pb. Cerramos y rematamos dejando hebra para coser al cuerpo.
馃悁 The legs.
- We knit with pink yarn an am of 6bp. We continue with 1bp-1st increase. Then we knit two rows of single crochet. We close and finish off leaving yarn to sew to the body.
馃悁 La cola.
- Para tejer la cola usamos el hilo rosado, hacemos una cadeneta de 12 puntos enganchando en la parte de atr谩s del cuerpo del rat贸n. En el 煤ltimo punto de la cadena tejemos tres puntos altos cerrados juntos. Cerramos con pd en el 煤ltimo punto.
馃悁 The tail.
*To knit the tail we use the pink yarn, we make a chain of 12 stitches hooking in the back of the mouse body. In the last stitch of the chain we knit three high stitches closed together. Close with pd in the last stitch.
馃槈Imag铆nenme ahora 馃 una ni帽a de tan solo 6 a帽os, vestida con un body negro, faldita tut煤 y medias rosadas. Con diadema de orejas de rat贸n, nariz y bigotes bailando sobre un escenario esta canci贸n馃憞 Por supuesto con toda una escenograf铆a creada por mi maestra.
馃槈Imagine me now 馃 a little girl of only 6 years old, dressed in a black bodysuit, tutu skirt and pink tights. With a headband of mouse ears, nose and whiskers dancing on a stage this song馃憞 Of course with a whole scenography created by my teacher.
馃悁 Ahora procedemos a unir todas las partes y a darle forma al ratoncito. Para ello cosemos con el hilo que dejamos en cada pieza. Sin hacer mucha presi贸n al coser.
馃悁 Pegamos los ojitos y ya tenemos terminado al Ratoncito Miguel de mi infancia.
馃悁 Now we proceed to join all the parts together and shape the little mouse. To do this we sew with the thread that we left on each piece. Without making too much pressure when sewing.
馃悁 We glue the little eyes and we have finished the Miguel Mouse of my childhood.
Me gusta mucho como se ve. A煤n no he pensado qu茅 har茅 con 茅l. Por ahora voy a disfrutarlo mucho.
I really like the way it looks. I haven't figured out what I'm going to do with it yet. For now I'm going to enjoy it a lot.
