Hello lovely Steemians! This is my #MarketFriday share initiated by ! I’ve been wanting to do one of these for awhile now so I’m excited to be posting this today!
Two weeks ago we traveled to the State Fair located in Sedalia, MO. I homeschool year round so we always try to take a vacation, mini or not, so that we all can take a break and have some family fun time. This year we traveled with my parents, mother-in-law, sister, my nieces and nephews. We rented a 15 passenger van and had such a great time. The tent shops down there were full of tempting items to buy and nice souvenirs for keepsake. Today I am sharing with you items from my favorite tent!
Kid’s Stuff
There were plenty of kids items in here to purchase. It seems my kids loved the animal puppets and these cute little dogs with the sunglasses and hats the most.
Jewelry
There were so many necklaces, bracelets and earrings. I remember going to these fairs when I was a little girl and always wanting to buy some type of necklace and mood ring. It was fun watching my daughter admire the jewelry and being so excited about all of the selections.
My daughter really liked these friendship bracelets. She is always thinking about giving her cousins and friends a gift :)
Clothing
This is always the hardest section for me to resist. I love shopping for new attire! I especially love buying dresses when I see a good deal because I need more dresses in my life. I normally opt for jeans, a cute shirt and a cute pair of shoes but I really do want more dresses...
The next two pair of pants were handmade!! The first pair was so lightweight and comfortable and I love the print and color on the second pair as well as the pocket that stood out at me. Seeing these handmade items enticed me to want to learn how to sew even more! 😍 I wanted both pairs!
Oh and they even had dresses outside! They looked even more darling displayed towards the sky...
Bags
Dream Catchers
Although we’re not into these I do think they are a beautiful craft.
and finally...
Wood Crafts
We decided to take one of these wood crafts home for our souvenir! I’m not sure if you recall my bird watching post with the pictures of the Cardinal I captured in the bare trees? Well they are now our family’s favorite bird :D
That concludes our journey! I hope you had a good time coming along with me and seeing some of the nice items that were for sell.
Wait! Don’t leave yet I almost forgot the finale...
Ahhhhhh yes, we all got to get a massage in this electric full body massage chair! Shopping wears you out, we needed it! 😄
