Sweden, The Caffeine Empire
As of my lastest post, I was in Sweden as weekend with some friends and we really enjoyed ourselves! So much so, that we are talking about going back to Sweden next month already!
I have already talked about what we did, shared some pictures of foods and such! (I do need to be better at shooting more pictures when I visit places, I kinda forget)
But, one other thing Sweden have that Denmark doesn't, is a lot more different Energy Drinks and some here on Hive properly know that I am a sucker for trying new stuff including Energy Drinks! So I bought a variety of Energy Drinks.
The reason why Denmark doesn't have more Energy Drinks is because of our Laws. A Energy Drink in Denmark is maximum allowed to have a Caffeine value of 32mg/100ml. This is what our regular Redbulls have.
From looking at a paper comparing all Nordic Countries and their Caffeine Laws, Denmark, Norway & Iceland have the most restrictions in this regards. Where Sweden have none. They have recommendations but not laws.....yet.
So if you take a look at my picture below.
Celsius contain a ratio of 56/100ml Caffeine.
The Big Monster is at 57/100ml Caffeine.
The Small Redbull & Monster is x3 the normal amount which is equal to 96/100ml of Caffeine (They do only contain 150ml per bottle compared to the monster which is 473ml in total)
In a sidenote. All the Celsius is zero sugar.
But it safe to say that you can really easily stay Caffeinated in Sweden compared to other Nordic countries xD
Fun Fact: The Small Redbull is the Thai Redbull and it was on Sale for 12 Swedish Krona which is 8 Danish Kroner. Thats insane with 3x the amount of Caffeine in it and Cheaper than a normal Redbull, even if its not on sale. Pff xD
The big monsters was expensive, since they were bought in a special shop which had imported them.
But everything else was what I would consider dirt cheap xD
Even Cesius with more Caffeine in them is cheaper than a standard Redbull in Denmark xD
