Introduction
This is a post about using actifit for one whole month. The actifit app was announced at the end June and I started using it seriously from July 17, 2018. I started using it quite early, and now I have one-month experience using it.
Collected some data about this period and here I want to present it, so other users can have an overall view of the functionality and what they can expect.
One month is a decent amount of time for presenting the experience.

Actifit is an app that awards users for their activity. What can be better than that. It stimulates the user to be more active and in this way, it is supporting a healthy lifestyle. The idea is great, and congrats to the team behind it. Everyone with a phone and a Steemit account can use it.

Like it is noticed in the introduction this is still a very young project. But the development of the project is going fast. The project is one and a half month old and they have already collected delegation of almost 100 000 SP. This is something. That much of delegation in such a small period of time.
They may have something with big potential here. If the team do a good job, and manage the project well, the potential for growth can be massive. Just to mention here that they are doing this in a bad condition for the crypto market. The overall market is down, and the interest in crypto is very low now.
Imagine what will be the interest with prices from December 2017. And if the project continues to grow, where it can be in five years from now?
How much did I earn?
There are couple of ways for earning with actifit. The first and most obvious one is that you post from the actifit app, and they award you for your activity. The scale for voting is as follows:
- 0 to 4,999 steps: 0%
- 5,000 to 5,999 steps: 20%
- 6,000 to 6,999 steps: 35%
- 7,000 to 7,999 steps: 50%
- 8,000 to 8,999 steps: 65%
- 9,000 to 9,999 steps: 80%
- 10,000 and above: 100%
I go on work by walking, and I’m doing this every day. I’m proud of this achievement of mine and was telling everyone to walk or ride a bike on their way to work. This app has just confirmed my efforts and pushes me to do more 😊.
I have been using the actifit app for a month now, and here is a table with all the activity in the previous 30 days.

| 30 | August 15 2018 | 5,474 | 0.10 |
| Total | July 17 – Aug 16 2018 | 317.237 | 8.39 |
So what the numbers are telling that for the past 31 days, I have earned 8.39 $, for total steps of317.237. Only from the actifit upvotes.
Is this a lot or not, I don’t know it is relative for everyone. But this are earnings in time when the crypto market is down. The can easily go up. And I’m not doing some big effort for this. I already do the walking. Now I just report it. And in this way, it makes me more aware of my activate and pushes me to improve. So, I don’t see it as burden.
The value of the actifit vote depends of the SP of the account, so from the delegation, and the number of users using the app.
From the analysis of my monthly data, the next can be concluded:
- 18 posts with more than 10 000 steps (100% upvote)
- 6 posts with less than 10 000 steps (less than 100% upvote)
- 5 days without activity (0% upvote)
- 1 post that because of an error didn’t get the vote.
I have space for improvement 😊. If I manage to get all 31 days 100% upvotes, my revenue will increase for about 30% than now. But this is the ideal situation. I will be satisfied with 3 to 4 days without report, and 3 to 4 days with less than 100% activities. This is my goal for now.
Actifit SMT Tokens
Apart from the earnings from upvotes, Actifit award it users with tokens as well.
For steps more than 10k a day it gave you 100 tokens daily, and less if you are below that. Also, it gives you tokens for upvoting posts from the Actifit. This comes as an extra. Now I don’t know what the value of this tokens will be, when they will be tradable, but they can be a lot more than the upvotes.
Probably the most effective way to earn tokens is from delegation. For one SP actifit awards it delegators with ration 1 : 1 actifit tokens on daily basis. This will last until the maximum cap of 100 000 daily token reward is reached and then will be allocated proportionally.
I’m earning actifit tokens in three ways:
- Tokens from posts
- Tokens from votes
- Tokens from delegation
I have stated delegating SP to actifit starting from august 7th , so not for the whole past period.
My token earning from this three categories in the pas one month look like this:
| Type | Tokens |
|---|---|
| Tokens from posts | 2020 |
| Tokens from delegation | 610 |
| Tokens from votes | 180 |
| Total | 2810 |
So, a total of 2810 tokens for one month. Nice number for one month. The top earners of actifit tokens are way up there with more than 100 000 tokens earned. But I’m ok with these earnings.
