New All-Time High As Hive account@fulltimegeek Leads The Charge Over 10k SP!

Week 28 was simply amazing. It started out as a tough week as we lost some Minnowbooster leases and Hive account@themarkymark had to pull his 1K SP delegation, but ended on a super high-note as Hive account@fulltimegeek added a whopping 3000 SP to his delegaton (4500 SP in total!). The net sum of all the action is the account has now solidly broken 10K, and is in fact at 11500 SP! Thank you Hive account@fulltimegeek for your continued generosity, you are truly in a class of your own!

Also in case you missed it, Hive account@fulltimegeek also sent a message last week. I think it deserves highlighting here so that you all might see his continued dedication to you, the Stewards of Gondor:

I don't know what he's planning, but there is no doubt it will be generous and exciting. So stay tuned and keep your eyes open for sure! ;)

On the upvote of our post this week, we had another good week of participation and as usual Hive account@fulltimegeek is still leading the way there! As far as Steem goes it was a horrible week, dropping 22% to $0.78 for the week (down $0.22 to $0.78). Since the drop was recent the internal market hasn't caught up, plus we received the big bump in our SP, so our vote values actually rose a penny to $0.18 per post per steward (+$0.01).

On the paid delegation front we did have a lot of activity as we got our 150 SP Minnowbooster lease during the week and also got a 125 lease at the market rate of 325 SP per steem from a big Hive account@fulltimegeek fan Hive account@public-eye. This is his second time for Hive account@public-eye delegating to the account and he has been a pleasure to work with! We also lost a delegation from the market and have another one coming due tomorrow, so we are successfully working through those as well.

Also I would like to thank Hive account@themarkymark for his generous 1000 SP delegation for many weeks. He never asked for anything and delegated to the account and really helped us for roughly 3 months! Thank you Hive account@themarkymark, your support of Hive account@fulltimegeek and his Stewards is definitely appreciated!

During the week we had a three more donations come in, two from repeat SOG donors Hive account@abh12345 and Hive account@cranium each giving 1 Steem; and one from repeat non-SOG member Hive account@bashadow of 1.0 Steem. This Weeks Payment On Posts Today (~$6 steem)

Tonight we will receive the 28th weekly payout since the launch of this program. The payout will about $6 steem (with the new payout formula, it will be all in steem), and it, along with any donations will be used to initiate new leases if the rates stay so favorable. The goal will be to add more new 13 week leases to replace the expiring 13 week leases each week that come due!

We have successfully built up and stabilized our account, and now we should provide a steady and growing upvote if we continue to get your support. The goal is to give the SOG members a real benefit and with your continued efforts to support us, we will continue to build the SP and curation trail.

As mentioned earlier these new donations and earnings of sbd from posts will be reinvested to grow the SP so that the SOG members get a bigger hit to their upvote. We have now started lengthening the leases from 13 to 20 weeks depending on market opportunities.
