Did you ever want to just go out to get something to eat at midnight? I don't usually go and get some take out. Mostly, cause I like to save money, but sometimes I feel like doing that.
I just so happened to have some extra money, so I went to get some In N Out Burger.
It was one of my old roommates that told me about this place. You see my ex-roommate is a bodybuilder. Well, anyway if you know bodybuilders they like to stay away from bread.
Well they make a burger that uses big pieces of lettuce like they would use a bun. This way the bodybuilder can eat the burger and still not eat bread. I tried it several times that way, but if I'm going to make the midnight run I am going to eat it with the regular bun.
Well, I am not a bodybuilder and don't need to get that cutup look. I would be happy if I could do my 100 push ups like I used to do when I was younger. Well, I'm older now so doing 10 to 15 push ups is good for me.
Did I tell you I used to work for McDonald's back in the late 70's? Well in those days I would search for the best burger. What I really liked was the Jumbo Jack. Now that was when that burger was really big with a really big bun.
To me it was the best, but then I guess they wanted to save money, so what they did was make it smaller, but mentioned that the burger was thicker.
Well, that was the end. Ever feel like you got ripped off? Well, when they changed the Jumbo Jack I felt like I got gypped. To me it didn't even taste the same.
Jack in the Box, why did you change the Jumbo Jack? Was it the money? Just charge more for it. You know what? I don't even go to Jack in the Box much anymore, but I do remember that the Jumbo Jack of the 70's was a unique burger.
Jack in the Box, if you ever get a chance to read my small blog, please do try it for a bit to bring back the original Jumbo Jack of the 70's as I remember it. Test it out and advertise the original Jumbo Jack of the 70's and see if you won't make more money.
I do like the In N Out Burger and I did enjoy eating it. I just ordered two of the hamburgers. I would have the cheese burgers, but I like saving money. So I didn't want to pay extra for the cheese.
Notice the Seasons Greetings on the bag that holds my 2 hamburgers? Well, as I write it is almost Christmas. Merry Christmas to those that celebrate that holiday.
