A little surprise for me this morning. Although I wasted a trip to work this morning, when I got there they didn't need me! 😱 "We're overstaffed today" was my welcome! Ok I'll go back home then 😄.
It's unpaid but I don't mind, I could do with the rest anyway. Unfortunately, I don't have any leave remaining to use up 😕.
Anyway, I used the time I had acquired to do as little as possible 😂. Well, that's not entirely true of course. We went to see our grandson who had a day off nursery. Then we waited for our granddaughter to finish school to see her for a bit too.
The weather was a little wet but not too windy for us. Storm Ciaran visited today but I think it was the Channel Islands and the south coast that took the brunt of it. There's a lot of standing water on the roads though making driving hazardous especially in the dark!
