Today i'm gonna make my routine post about Photography. But before that, i want to say thank you to all Moderators and Members in Hive Learners Community for supporting me and will try to make a better post as i can.
In this post I want to share some photos of Ladybugs that I got in the forest and they were perched behind the leaves. They are very beautiful animals because of the colors and patterns on their bodies and this is very iconic with this one insect. But these animals are very shy, so they often hide behind the leaves so that the enemy does not know their whereabouts. Apart from that, these animals also hide to protect themselves from predators who chase them, besides their beautiful colors and patterns, these animals are easy targets for predators such as predatory spiders, mantis, and other insect predators such as reptiles. One form of protection from these insects is to hide and avoid when they feel approached by predators around them.
Ladybug has a red base color which is covered by black polka dots. Actually they have other colors besides red such as orange and even black, and there are also those who do not have polka dots on their bodies, the term Ladybug itself refers to a small beetle that is red and has a black polka dot pattern as I show this. Ladybugs usually have a small body and some even reach microscopic size, they have a distinctive shape that is round like a semi-circle. Their heads and eyes are lower than the rest of their bodies. They also have Elytra which is a layer on their back that serves to protect their wings because their wings are very thin and easily wet, of course this will interfere with their mobility. This Elytra will automatically open if they are about to fly and use their wings, and also revert back when they are finished using it.
They are very sensitive animals, they will not stay still if approached and even fly away if we are impatient to approach them. That's what made it a little difficult for me to take pictures of them, but with effort and hard work, I managed to get some photos of them and I will show them in this post. So, that was all my picture about Ladybug. It's little bit hard to capture them, but with passion and hard effort, i can take a view picture about them. I hope you enjoy it.
