Yesterday, my wife and I headed to Oregon to visit some family and celebrate our niece’s fourth birthday.
My wife has been out here to visit them several times over the past couple years, but this is my first time going with her on a trip to visit. We love Oregon and we are hoping that one day we can move out there and establish a place for our kids and grandkids.
It is nice to get out of Utah for a while and get away from the polluted air.
The flight was only about an hour and a half, and we spent that time watching Physical 100 on Netflix. We are kind of obsessed with that show and each week we are waiting for the next two episodes to release. If you’ve never seen it, you should check it out.
Our first stop after we landed and picked up our rental car was at a dispensary. These are everywhere here in Oregon and I really wish it was like that in Utah. Having so many options to buy your weed helps keep the prices down and increases the quality of what you are buying.
Oregon is known for having some amazing weed, and it is much better than the stuff that you can buy from the dispensaries in Utah. It can be a bit overwhelming when you go to a dispensary here because they seem to have just about every strain and the names are pretty wild. I ended up getting some prerolls of Sour Diesel, Wonka Bars and Blueberry Muffin.
I had some of the sour diesel last night and I really enjoyed it. I haven’t really had many sativas because they usually get a bad reputation for making you paranoid and if you overdo it, it isn’t the most enjoyable high. But sour diesel was great. It gave me a nice boost of energy but at the same time allowed my brain to calm down and relaxed my body. Definitely not what people normally say about sativas. This just goes to prove that proper dosing is important and knowing when to stop.
I am hoping we get some time to get out and explore nature here. I brought my camera and I am hoping to get some cool pictures of the scenery and some wildlife. Oregon is probably my favorite place to be here in the US. It’s where my heart feels at home.
