Hello, friends especially DIY ers!
Easter is at the door and today I will share a craft, this time I won’t share any of my needleworks but I would like to share how I made a cute bunny hanging décor that would be nice to hang at the door or the wall. How to make it and also the materials I used was simple and could be found easily at home. So why don’t you make one or more for your house too?
Project Time: approximately an hour
Difficulty: Easy
Materials & Things needed:
- Drawing paper
- Pencil
- Ruler
- Scissors
- Double sided tape
- A bottle or another round object
- Pink double sided origami
- Glue stick
- Black origami
- Pearl pink origami
- White yarn
- Multi purpose adhesive glue
How to make it:
1ST
I started by measuring my A3 drawing paper, 15 cm width. Then cut it off then folded it like an accordion. The width for each fold was around 1 cm.
2ND
After that, I found out that i had some unused paper left there so I trimmed it then I put the double sided tape on both sides of the accordion, folded it in the middle, then released the double sided tape so I got an accordion plate, it made a circle like below.
3RD
I copied the round object i had on the drawing paper, the diameter was 5 cm, I didn’t use compass because I didn’t like the small hole that it would leave in the middle. Then I cut it off. I also drew and cut off two long ears.
4TH
After that, I cut off the pink origami for the part inside the ear. By using the glue stick I joined the circle with two long ears, and the bunny head now just made up.
5TH
Then, I cut off two black circles as the eyes, a nose then a smile mouth. After that I also cut off two small pearl pink for the cheeks. Next, I pasted them all to the head.
6TH
Last, I put the yarn which I already knotted behind the head. I then used the double sided tape to hold it there like below. Last, I also added the multi purpose glue on it, to join it with the accordion plate I made before.
The Result
Voila, here was my hanging décor, the white bunny is so cute for this spring and also easter of course.
Thanks for reading my article, hope you enjoy it and stay tune for more CRAFT things from me!
