They say that you always return to the places where you were happy, although sometimes those places usually change. The first time we visited the Cumbrecita was two years ago if the memory does not fail me, It was also summer but it was a very sunny day, in fact we were camping there for 2 days, I managed to take many photos that I shared once with you and we had a blue sky. This summer we decided to return, it was a sudden decision, it was not planned, while we were on the route we thought: Why not go to La Cumbrecita again? Come on...

At least 40 minutes before arriving we almost regretted that decision, a lot of mist began to go down and became dense breasts. Finally we chose to arrive with these climatic conditions, especially because it was a new experience appreciating that beautiful pedestrian town covered by fog, we imagine that it would be magical!

The arrival was different this time, it is the first time we see that poster, last time we entered by another route and we did it at night.

We had to pay a minimum amount to park the car and from there go walking towards the town.

We had not obviously many tourists. This is the route to the right side and there we were walking for at least 20 minutes.

In a strange way it was not cold, despite the weather I could travel the town with a shirt, we started seeing some houses while we came down.

You always get these fixed posters that says there is no place, not available rooms. This is so tourist that the poster remains there permanently 😂

We are going to develop a bit about this pedestrian town called La Cumbrecita, I must imagine that there are people who still do not know about it...

This town is in the department of Calamuchita, province of Córdoba in the Sierras Grandes, on almost 1,500 meters above sea level. The territory begins to populate mostly since the arrival of Germans to Argentina in 1932, These immigrants bought land and started working in the area, nurseries, agriculture. Although in principle the idea of ​​these immigrants was to buy land and build houses for summer vacations.

With the passing of the years everything was taking shape and the buildings are influences of more germal housing of the XV century.

This is one of the emblematic buildings you see when they are entering the town.

It is fair here where you can park cars that arrive at night. After there everything becomes pedestrian for visitors.

Most stores have this aesthetics, this design. Most offer sweet products, chocolates, ice cream and combine it very well with crafts, souvenirs.

However, some people have exceptions. Those who are housed in the cabins have the right to travel some of the streets in cars. Generally to go out and enter the town.

And there are other magical places like this, where you can sit down to enjoy a good coffee or local chocolate while you appreciate the landscape.

A very important and relevant aspect to highlight is that this is truly a town to disconnect from technology. This does this in my most attractive and captivating opinion. There are no banks, much less ATMs, in many places there is no sign, There are no service stations to supply or load fuel, that must be taken into consideration when visiting the Cumbrecita. Damage, deterioration of flora and fauna is prohibited. All the money collected from entries to tourists is used to beautify the town.

Something that is also very good is that the town offers buse transport services ranging from the Civic Center to the parking lot where tourists arrive. This service is completely free and works up to more than approximately 9pm.

The mist was descending more. When we left it was very difficult to see the streets clearly.

I guess this is one of the most welcoming places to enjoy a snack, or any food. The view is beautiful.

This was our experience during the visit to La Cumbrecita in these climatic conditions. For those who did not know about this place today I present them and I also recommend it.
