Hello to all Hive friends! Today I want to share with you a little about the round church, popularly known as such by all the inhabitants of the city and the neighborhood where it is located for having a Renaissance style, this is the town of Belgrano, however its original name is parish of the Immaculate Conception.
This parish is located in the autonomous city of Buenos Aires in the aforementioned locality more specifically between the streets Vuelta de Obligado, Juramento Avenue and Echeverria Street. It is located inside the well known Plaza Manuel Belgrano or Plaza Juramento and besides being a place of prayer it is a meeting point due to its location.

Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes un poco sobre la iglesia redonda, popularmente conocida así por todos los habitantes de la ciudad y del barrio donde se encuentra por tener un estilo renacentista, ésta es la localidad de Belgrano, sin embargo su nombre original es parroquia de la inmaculada concepción.
Está parroquia está ubicada en la ciudad autónoma de Buenos Aires en la localidad antes mencionada más específicamente entre las calles Vuelta de Obligado, Avenida Juramento y la calle Echeverría. Se encuentra dentro de la reconocida Plaza Manuel Belgrano o Plaza Juramento y aparte de ser un lugar de oración es un punto de encuentro por su ubicación.
The construction of this work was entrusted to the Genoese engineer and architect Nicolás Canale, who worked intensively in Buenos Aires in the second half of the 19th century, leaving as historical heritage a series of buildings and urban layouts of great importance.
After his death in 1876, the work was continued by his son José Canale, also an architect and engineer, and in collaboration with architect Juan Antonio Buschiazzo in the last stages of construction.
The parish has a notorious appearance, strongly influenced by the church of the great mother of God in Turin, on the other hand it also receives influences from the pantheon of Agrippa in Rome, Italy.
La construcción de esta obra fue encomendada al ingeniero y arquitecto genoves Nicolás Canale quien trabajó intensivamente en Buenos Aires en la segunda mitad del siglo XIX, dejando como patrimonio histórico una serie de edificios y trazados urbanos de gran importancia.
Luego de su fallecimiento en el año 1876, la.ibra fue continuada por su hijo José Canale, también arquitecto e ingeniero y en colaboración en las últimas etapas de la construcción está en arquitecto Juan Antonio Buschiazzo.
La parroquia tienen un aspecto notorio, fuertemente influenciado por la iglesia de la gran madre di Dio en Turín, por otra parte también recibe influencias del panteón de Agripa de Roma, Italia.
The inauguration of the parish took place in 1878 and has the present architectural characteristics:
At the main entrance there are marble steps and its facade has 10 columns of smooth shaft and Corinthian capital. Its dome has a diameter of 20 meters and rests on the ring of internal columns. It shows influences of the Italian neo-Renaissance.
La inauguración de la parroquia se llevó a cabo en el año 1878 y cuenta con las presentes características arquitectónicas:
En la entrada principal se encuentran unas escalinatas de mármol y su fachada tiene 10 columnas de fuste liso y capitel corintio. Su cúpula tiene un diámetro de 20 metros y se apoya sobre el anillo de columnas internas. Presenta influencias del neorrenacimiento italiano.
The columns are formed by architrave, floron, volute, astragal, torus, flasa escocia, torus, plinth and stylobate. Subsequently, interior restorations have been carried out, such as the pipe organ and the altar of the cross. The interior walls of the Echeverría Street side were also restored, as they had deteriorated with the passing of time.
All the restorations carried out are possible to the visitors of the locality through donations, this is important since they help to preserve the national historical patrimony.
Las columnas están formadas por arquitrabe, floron, voluta, astrágalo, toro, flasa escocia, toro, plinto y estilobato. Posteriormente se han llevado a cabo restauraciones interiores como el órgano de tubo y el altar de la cruz, también se acondicionaron las paredes interiores del lado de la calle Echeverría ya que estaban deterioradas con el pasar del tiempo.
Todas las restauraciones realizadas son posibles a las personas visitantes de la localidad mediante donaciones, esto es importante ya que ayudan a preservar el patrimonio histórico nacional.
The visiting hours of this parish are not open to the public in general, but only during the masses, which made me a little uncomfortable, I felt that somehow I was interrupting the people who were inside.
I had been knowing this work for a long time and on several occasions it was a meeting point for me since it is inside the popular Belgrano square, however, despite the fact that it is well known, there is not enough detailed information about it.
The parish is located in a very popular spot and is adjacent to the Belgrano neighborhood where the popular Chinatown is located.

Los horarios de visitas a ésta parroquia no están habilitados para el publicó en general sino que para poder acceder debe ser exclusivamente durante las misas, cosa que en particular me incomodó un poco, sentía que de alguna manera estaba interrumpiendo a las personas que estaban allí dentro.
Llevaba mucho tiempo conociendo está obra y en varias oportunidades fue un punto de encuentro para mí ya que está dentro de la popular plaza de Belgrano sin embargo a pesar de que es muy conocida no hay suficiente información más detallada de la misma.
La parroquia se encuentra en punto muy popular y es sus adyacencias se encuentran las barrancas de Belgrano en dónde se encuentra en popular barrio chino.
