GORRO DE MAPACHE

Hello knitting friends, this week I made a raccoon hat for a baby who would be 3 months old.

Hola amigas tejedoras, esta semana elabore un gorro de mapache para un bebe que cumpliria 3 meses de nacido.

GRAY WEAVING YARN	HILO DE TEJER GRIS
BLACK WEAVING YARN	HILO DE TEJER NEGRO
WOOL NEEDLE	AGUJA LANERA
TWO BLACK BUTTONS	DOS BOTONES NEGROS

I made the chains and from there I grew in circles until I got a radius of 7cm, which would be the radius of the baby's head.

Elabore e cadenetas y de alli fui creciendo en circulos lasta obtener un radio de 7cm que seria el radio de la cabecita de el bebe.

Once you have reached the required size, begin to grow the hat with half double crochet until you make 23 laps.

Una vez llegado a la medida requerida comence a crecer el gorro con medios puntos altos hasta dar 23 vueltas

Then take the gray thread to make the edge of the strip of the same fabric, 2 rounds of single crochet.

Luego tome el hilo gris para elaborar el borde de el corrito de el mismo tejido, 2 vueltas de medios puntos.

Now we are going to make the ears of the raccoon, start with 3 chains and grow with half stitches only up to half, that is, we will not make the complete hoop, only half and as we go around we are going to add 1 interspersed half double crochet increase; after that with the black thread we will continue 2 more laps.

Ahora vamos a realizar las orejas del mapache, inicie con 3 cademas y creci con medios pundos solo hasta la mitad, es decir no elaboraremos el aro completo, solo la mitad y al dar vueltas vamos a ir agregando 1 aumento de medio punto alto intercalado; luego de ello con e hilo negro continuaremos 2 vueltas mas.

I sewed the ears with the wool needle and with the black thread.

Cosi las orejas con la aguja lanera y con el hilo negro.

For the eyes I made 3 chains and closed with a slip stitch and knitting all the stitches from the center of the hoop, not inside the chains, but inside the hoop, I knitted half stitches until the circle was closed and I knitted 2 more rows, I knitted them loose to be able to stretch a little; the black part is made in the same way but with 1 single turn.

Para los ojos elabore 3 cadenas y cerre con puntodeslizado y tejiendo todos los puntos desde el centro del aro, no dentro delas cadenas, sino dentro del aro, teji medios puntos hasta cerrar el circulo y teji 2 vueltas mas, las teji sueltas para poder estirar un poco; la parte negra la elabore del mismo modo pero con 1 sola vuelta.

Once all the pieces were made, I just assembled and sewed them.

Una vez elaboradas todas las piezas solo fui armando y cosiendolas.

Let's be careful when sewing, I pricked my finger and it hurt!
