The autumn leaves are blessing us with their beauty, the year is winding to a close. Have you achieved your new years resolution? To tell the truth I didn't really make one.
In this post I will showcase some scenes of autumn in Japan from my little adventure last weekend. After we went tangerine picking we stopped by a near by museum and there was a huge park surrounding it. To my surprise the park was near to a river which had some amazing rock formations. I would love to explore the are more and do a bit of climbing, but then the kids would follow, not the mountain climbing kids but the ones you get after you know....
A decent amount of people were around taking in the scenery. Our party with 6 kids in hand ( not the ones that climb, mountains) decided to set up picnic shop right by the scenic view. So while feeding and making sure my youngest didn't roll off the edge, I managed to get a few shots
They was a river boat ride and one passed about every 10 minutes. The captains wore yukatas with Kanji written on them which gave the scene a cultural and historic look.
The maple leaves in autumn have the most vibrant color and in my opinion is the epitome of autumn in Japan.
The maple leaves literally stops everyone in their tracks to take and admire the art of mother nature. Though she paints the same pictures every year, it all seems brand new.
This area here was the entrance to a mini park where maple leaves were plenty. They were actually charging a small fee to get inside. It wasn't expensive but with six kids in the mix ( not the ones that climb mountains) that would quickly add up.
