Traveling is one of the most memorable pleasures in life, I love to travel and get to know new places, their culture, their gastronomy and above all their people. My perfect trip has not yet happened, although I have had the opportunity to visit several states of my country, to date I have not visited a beach, incredibly I have not yet had the pleasure of enjoying the majesty of the sea, listening to the waves and walking on the sand, under the imposing sun of a summer day. This is my dream trip and I hope to be accompanied by my loved ones.
Viajar es una de los placeres mas memorables de la vida, me encanta viajar y conocer lugares nuevos, su cultura, su gastronomía y sobre todo su gente. Mi viaje perfecto aún no se ha dado, aunque he tenido la oportunidad de conocer varios Estados de mi país, hasta la fecha no he visitado una playa, increíblemente aún no tengo el placer de disfrutar de la majestuosidad del mar, de escuchar sus olas y caminar sobre la arena, bajo el imponente sol, de un día de verano. Este es mi viaje soñado y espero sea acompañada de mis seres queridos.
Despite the fact that the trip of my dreams has not yet taken place, I am enormously grateful, because I have been able to enjoy small trips, which have left me with beautiful memories and learnings. One of my favorites was on February 14, 2015, where we visited, a really beautiful place that the State of Mérida, Venezuela gives us, it is the Musuy Hot Springs. This is a favorite place to spend a day of adventure and hiking in the middle of the imposing mountains of the Sierra Nevada.
A pesar de que el viaje de mis sueños aún no se ha dado, estoy enormemente agradecida, porque he podido disfrutar de pequeños viajes, que han dejado en mi hermosos recuerdos y aprendizajes. Uno de mis favoritos fue el 14 de febrero del 2015, donde visitamos, un lugar realmente hermoso que nos regala el Estado Mérida, Venezuela, se trata de las Aguas Termales de la Musuy. Este es un lugar predilecto para pasar un día de aventura y senderismo en medio de las imponentes montañas de la Sierra Nevada.
I made this trip in the company of three very special people in my life, my brother, his wife and my boyfriend. We left from the city of Merida early in the morning, from the terminal we took a transport to the town of Mucuchies, a beautiful town known for the beauty of its landscapes, the charisma, the kindness of its people and its important agriculture, we arrived around 9 am. La Musuy is located several kilometers from the village, so a local man drove us in his toyota to the entrance of La Musuy, taking about 15 minutes. In this area, it is common to provide transportation services in rustic cars, due to the topography of some places.From there our tour began.
Este viaje, lo realicé en compañía de tres personas muy especiales en mi vida, mi hermano, su esposa y mi novio. Partimos desde la Ciudad de Mérida a primera hora del día,desde la terminal tomamos un transporte hacia el Pueblo de Mucuchies, un pueblo hermoso conocido por la belleza de sus paisajes, el carisma, la amabilidad de su gente y su importante agricultura, llegamos cerca de las 9 am. La Musuy se encuentra a varios kilómetros del pueblo, por tanto un señor de la zona nos llevo en su toyota hasta la entrada de la Musuy, tardando alrededor de 15 minutos. En esta zona, es común que presten servicios de transporte en carros rústicos,debido a la topografía de algunos lugares.Desde allí comenzó nuestro recorrido.
The tour begins with a steep slope, which makes you doubt your physical capacity, plus the height of the place makes it more interesting, knowing that it is 3500 meters above sea level. Climbing this mountain is a real challenge, but when you reach the top, you think that the fatigue has really been worth it, watching these beautiful landscapes.
El recorrido comienza con una fuerte pendiente, que te hace dudar de tu capacidad física, además que la altura del lugar lo hace más interesante, sabiendo que se encuentra a 3500 metros sobre el mar. Subir esa montaña es un verdadero reto, pero al llegar a la cima, piensas en que ese cansancio ha valido realmente la pena, al observar estos paisajes tan hermosos.
From here, we begin a journey through a narrow road, where we can continue to enjoy nature and breathe fresh air, it is amazing how the weather began to change from one moment to another appearing thick fog.
A partir de aqui, se comienza una travesía por un camino angosto,donde podemos seguir disfrutando de la naturaleza y respirar aire puro, es increíble como el clima comenzó a cambiar de un instante a otro apareciendo la neblina espesa.
After approximately two hours of walking, we arrived at the long awaited hot springs well, it is a small well of crystalline water, built with stones, with a really incredible temperature, it relaxes you so much that you do not want to get out of there, and how is it that in such a cold place with a temperature between 10 and 18 degrees Celsius, its water is so warm, it turns out that in the well flows water from three waterfalls, of different temperatures, which together create the perfect temperature to spend a pleasant time, full of tranquility. As this type of water contains many minerals as it emerges from the depth of the earth, many people go to the place to improve certain health conditions.
Después de aproximadamente dos horas de camino, llegamos al tan esperado pozo de aguas termales, es un pequeño pozo de agua cristalina, construido con piedras, con una temperatura realmente increíble, te relaja tanto, que no quieres salir de ahí, y como es que en un lugar tan frio con un temperatura entre 10 y 18 grados centígrados, su agua sea tan calientita, pues resulta que en el pozo desemboca agua de tres cascadas, de diferentes temperaturas, que juntas crean la temperatura perfecta para pasar un rato agradable, lleno de tranquilidad. Como este tipo de aguas contiene muchos minerales ya que emergen desde la profundidad de la tierra, muchas personas acuden al lugar para mejorar ciertas condiciones de salud.
As the afternoon approaches, it is time to return, the descent is much easier, as they say, rolling down the stones, the weather was more imposing, the fog also descended and became thicker, but we were really grateful for the experience.
Cuando la tarde se acerca, es hora de regresar, el descenso es mucho más fácil, como dicen, bajando ruedan las piedras, el clima era más imponente, la neblina también descendió y se hacía más espesa, pero estábamos realmente agradecidos por la experiencia.
