This title may not make sense at the moment, but if you read this post till the end it will.
This post has been in my had for a couple of days now. I thought I give it a go today.
I have been on Steemit for about a month now, althought I am still considered as a new Steemian as they say, I have learned a lot and I'm sure there is still a lot to be learned.
However I would like to share my new knowledge and experiences what I gained and learned here from other Steemians.
Here I would like to mention two users who have been helping me a lot and I learned from them @simplymike and @galenkp I recommend to check them out they are really good.
This post is mostly for very new starters. The reason I feel important to pass over what I know is, because I remember how hard it was in the first few days in my journey.
First of all I love Steemit. I have really good experiences and I can say only positive things about the users I met here so far.
Steemit is a relatively new platform and for sure a lot of people still don't know about it, but it's good to see that this community is growing and new members are joining every day.
So how did you find it? Please leave a comment below how did you find out about Steemit. I saw videos about it on the most popular video sharing platform.
So maybe one of the reason you joined is, because you heard that you can earn cryptocurrency by blogging, posting videos, photos and a bunch of other way you can earn Steem. So you joined you are here. Congratulations! You have become a Steemian.
I guess you found out very soon after a few posts you made, that you cannot post anymore until you wait to be fully recharged your credit source or the other alternative would be to buy some Steem that you can convert to Steem Power. That was my very first experience and I struggled.
What you can do is make a post (by the way it should be your first post) under the "introduceyourself" tag it will help you a lot to be discovered and noticed.
Write a really good introduction post and if you are lucky you will be mentioned by an experienced Steemian and you may even get some delegation from them to get you started.
The more Steem Power you have the more influence you have on the platform. It means you can post, comment and vote more and your voting power will be bigger as well.
Always write original and good quality posts with an eye catching picture and a catchy title. Your first picture in your post will be seen first by other users so select well.
If your image is not yours, always give credit to the author of the image. If your content is good, not only people will vote it, but it may will be resteemed or nominated and that really helps a lot.
Be consistent! Post every day at least one post, but no more than four. Go ahead and interact with other users. Comment on their posts, engage with them.
Your comment can be voted too. There are two types of rewards you can get. Author and curator rewards. So if you vote other people's comments or posts you get rewarded too.
Do not ask for followers (it is only my opinion) if people want to follow you they will. I would rather go for quality than quantity.
Take part of contests that you like. There are good ones out there. You could win Steem, which you really need or other things. People are running different contests with different prizes.
Download the Partiko app. Not only you can use the platform on the go, but you can collect points that can be redeemed. It's available on the app store.
I hope these things help. I am sure they will if you follow them.
I am heading to the top. See you there!
Enjoy your time on Steemit!
