For me, every moment of moving around is always a fun and amazing time for me because I love to move around so much and also love to explore to feed my eyes, which is a good thing if you ask me. Especially when it comes to traveling experiences. It’s the best experience anyone will ever dream of having.
I’m just always surprised to hear that some people aren’t really a fan of traveling and exploring places. Well, you actually do not have an idea of what you’re missing out on. Because left to me, traveling around is one of my favorite things to do. It’s always nice to also travel by air and enjoy the natural feeling of nature in the air. But to be very honest, traveling by car isn’t so much of a bad idea. It’s amazing and fun, too.
The only issues I usually have with traveling with a car mostly are the stress you have to go through from the bad roads; the long time driving can be tiring sometimes and slow compared to traveling by air. Another thing I dislike so much is the harassment you get from police officers as a young person. It’s literally just so annoying and frustrating in most cases.
I’ve seen lots of situations whereby a policeman just tries to harass a civilian for looking good, keeping a nice haircut, using a car, etc. Which makes many people want to travel by air more. Because you literally do not get to face all of this while traveling by air. It’s just so funny how you get to face all of this just by traveling by car.
It’s funny how many Nigerians don’t even feel safe around policemen anymore. It’s just so alarming and not even funny to me anymore. I’ve heard of a situation whereby a person was shot dead on the spot for trying to claim his right. Which makes me dislike police officers in my country. It’s so disheartening that you can’t run to them when there’s a crisis around because they are nothing different from the people you’re running away from. Not all of them, though.
But for the fun experience, one of the reasons I enjoyed traveling more by road from when I was younger was because I got more opportunities to eat and purchase a lot of things on my dad's pocket. Because my dad always seems to take me around everywhere I want to go and get me whatever thing I desire. Traveling by air wouldn’t always get me all of those, so I preferred to travel more often on roads compared to air.
Because that way, we might be passing through a particular area, and I get to see something I want so bad, and then we stop and get them for me! And also, I’m always so happy to see those who hawk goodies come close to the car window and ask, Oga Wetin you want? 😂. It gives me a lot of goosebumps when I hear that sentence because I know for sure that my dad is definitely getting me something.
I grew up and kept wondering how I never got tired of eating all of those things that year 😂. But then, I always come to realize that I’m really just a chill baby boy who was craving nothing but a baby boy’s treatment 😂🙂↔️😌❤️🌚. I’m really grateful for all of those times, and of course, I’m so grateful for the gift of my dad.
Because I’ve now gotten to that stage where I now care for myself when I am traveling 😂, and I dare not spend my money on things like the way I used to when I was younger and chill 😂. I really agree with the saying that states that adulthood is a scam and also a very big trap 😂.
