Guava fruit

Guava is a type of shrub fruit plant and is widely cultivated in the tropics. The fruit is very delicious, especially now that guava fruit is popular, cut into pieces and mixed with patarana which is sold on the roadside. In addition to the fruit, the leaves and stems are also useful. The leaves are used as herbal medicine while the stems are used as firewood.

The fruit is round, some are oval, the skin is green when the fruit is still young. If it is ripe or old the skin will turn yellowish green. The flesh is white and in it there are many seeds. There is also a little seed but I rarely find it.
